Leo let out a bark of laughter. (( hah, like my pun? xD)) "Sourpuss." he said casually. He couldn't help but smile slightly before falling silent again. "Ahhh, how I love the playful banter between acquaintances." he said.

"Bah. You call this shit playful banter." she snorted, rolling her eyes but she was fighting to hold back a grin. She was about to say more when without realizing it, they've already reached the Lyons house. Lionel was sitting on the front porch, staring into nothing, obviously spacing out and he hadn't noticed Aislinn at all when she came by. Wren hurried over and after staring at him for a little while, rapped Lionel's head sharply. "Don't tell me you forgot the time when I pushed your butt into the damn canal." she said sarcastically, standing in front of him with her arms folded. As if that knocking had woke him up, Lionel's eyes seem to clear a little and he gave her a lazy smile. "Hello Wren. Did you just get back from Venice?"

Wren stared at him, speechless. So the redhead really did lose his memories after all and that incident seemed to be only thing he could remember now. "You remember Kolian? Or Rune? Or..Sable? Or even what's his name English boy Cecil?" She saw a spark of recognition in Lionel's black eyes but was disappointed at his answer. "I recognize the names but I cannot remember anything about them."

Bummer.

Leo gawked at Lionel. A completely blank expression clouded the redhead's face. He raised an eyebrow at Wren. "Wow..." he said. "He really doesn't remember squat." Leo cast a sympathetic look at Wren, and looked back and forth between the two, before running a hand through his hair. "Ahm, he doesn't even remember the house arrest?" 

Kolian ran out the front door just to be met with Wren and Leo. Immediately, her head bowed and her frantic emotion retreated into her little bottle. What Lionel had opened up for her immediately capped and it seemed as if she was back to bottling up emotions. She felt meek next to Wren, and her eyes glanced over at Lionel. How she wished for him to turn to her and say "hello little vampire" her heart ached though it didn't beat. She didn't even seem to notice Leo too much. While most girls would have noticed his gorgeous face, his brilliant eyes and his amazing hair, she saw nothing but a boy, while she looked at Lionel with pain and love that could break anyone's heart. 
Kolian had forgotten, but she was only dressed in her skinny jeans that were a bit loose on her, and a little too long though she had chosen ones for "short" people. And she wore a blue tank top with green graphics of painted flowers all over it. It complimented her nicely, and was a pretty color on her. Her hair was a little messy but it made her all the more adorable.

"Kolian." Wren barked the moment the small girl stepped out. "This stupid redhead..." She didn't bother finishing the sentence and instead threw up her hands in frustration. Lionel raised an eyebrow at her and snorted. "Watch who you're calling stupid, little bird." Wren looked as though she badly wanted to raise a foot and perhaps kick him upside the head. She pursed her lips and didn't say anything else, instead glancing out into the roadway, with the hope that her beloved Sable was going to come running up any moment. Unknown to her, he was already on a plane and on the way here, obviously unable to ignore his sister's call of distress.

"Oh hello again." Lionel said, his ebony eyes narrowing at Kolian. Something clicked into his head upon looking at her face and the next thing that he said was "I hit a paper airplane at you." After those words popped out, he frowned, shrugged and then returned to looking at Wren.

Aislinn shook herself off as the small girl rushed out the door, apparently frazzled. Bear padded into the door, her heels in his mouth, completely pristine and slobber free. Aislinn scowled at the canine before snatching the stolen shoes out of his mouth and slipping them on. Aislinn quickly glided out of the door and made her way to the growing crowd around Lionel. She approached the familiar looking figure with the disheveled blonde hair. She stopped short when she saw the look on her brother's face.
It looked stunned- like he'd just seen something that he'd never seen before. The look sent her stomach dropping to her heeled feet.
Aislinn narrowed her eyes as she had a strange foreboding that Lionel's amnesia wouldn't make anyone feel better. She followed her brother's gaze to see what was so amazing that it would keep his attention span on it for longer than a second- and her eyes landed on Kolian.
Aislinn made a noise that sounded like something between a growl and a groan before putting on a smile and prancing gracefully over to the group. She elbowed Leo hard in the side before fixing her gaze upon the situation.
"Ow," Leo muttered before looking away and at his sister. "What?"
Aislinn just smiled innocently before turning her attention. She could see Kolian's ever loving gaze on Lionel - and Lionel's probing gaze on...Wren. 'Did he just call Wren "Little Bird"? Not call Kolian "Little Vampire"? Oh bugger.' Aislinn fixed her piercing clear blue gaze upon Lionel. This was going to cause soooo much shit. Hello, drama.

Leo looked at Wren, who was looking out at the road. "Looking for something?" he asked. He fixed a frank gaze on her, seeing what she was so interested in. If anyone was paying attention, they would see his dark blue gaze flitting back and forth between Wren's object of attention, and his current one - Kolian, who apparently was too enamored in Lionel to notice what was happening.

Kolian stood there, her soul shaking in her small body. He called Wren little bird... and what was she? A girl that apparently got on his nerves. When he looked at her and recalled a memory, her heart rose in her chest and she could barely speak, but she managed a quiet yes as he turned away. She felt hopeless. The way he seemed to be gazing at Wren hurt. She had been jealous of Wren before but now, all she felt was that pain of loving someone who no longer, or didn't love you.
Kolian held her arm almost as if she were injured and her eyes fell to the ground, and to her bare feet. She rubbed her arm a little. It was cold outside and the pain didn't make her feel any better. She didn't know what to do now. Lionel nearly hated her, she was so annoying. The thought made Kolian feel sick to her stomach. She wanted to throw up or hide in an emo corner. She was sure Lionel wouldn't care anymore.
Just then, tears rose to her eyes. She had been the one sitting by Lionel's bedside day and night. She had been there for him when he was injured, waiting patiently for him to recover, caring for him while he was in a coma. Now, he loved Wren. Not her. How could he love her, of course? Did he ever love her? She was an annoying little newborn vampire. How could he possibly have cared for her in the first place anyways?
"I'll just leave you guys..." she muttered under her breath, before she made her way through the group and out into the street, barefoot and without one of her many hoodies. She was walking away. Where to? No idea. She could barely see and the tears were spilling over.

But this is in drama mode. XD ))

Leo mused over going after the girl, but decided not to. He hardly knew her, let alone enough to comfort her. It wasn't until he felt a sharp jab in his side that he turned to his sister. "What?" he hissed. Aislinn jerked her head toward Kolian. Her expression clearly said - go after him!
Leo sighed and shook his head. 'I barely know her.' he mouthed. If they weren't in such a serious situation, Aislinn would have screamed out loud. Why was her brother so stubborn?
Aislinn turned on her heel and ran over to the heartbroken girl. "Hey," she said softly, putting a hand on her shoulder. A very mother-like gesture. Aislinn's mother instincts were kicking into gear again. Anyone could see that.
"Now see here." she said in her soothing accent. "No need to cry. It's amnesia. Time will tear it down to shreds and he'll remember you again."

Kolian stopped when aislinn put her hand on her shoulder. Kolian glanced at Aislinn, clearly pained. "maybe, maybe not. All I know is that he thinks I'm an annoying newborn and that he is in love with Wren, not me." Kolian hated each word as it left her mouth. "I've always been jealous of Wren. She's more beautiful than I could ever dream of being, she's smart too..." Kolian fell quiet for another moment. "I thought, as long as Lionel loved me everything was alright. I had something she didn't. Now that she has that something I feel lost. I feel like I don't have anything anymore. It's the worst feeling in the world to love someone and know they love someone else." Kolian looked down the street. "I just feel empty." she murmured. Kolian kicked a rock on the pavement. "the way he looks at wren is heartbreaking. He doesn't see me anymore. When he does he looks at me with this distasteful look." Kolian looked at the sky. She felt empty and lost and she didn't know where she was supposed to be. Her tears had slowed but they were still coming. Slowly and surely. 

(( XDD My boyfriend has always been my best friend ever since 6th grade. It wasnt until 9th, this year, that I realized I loved him. :3 and he loves me too, and has always liked me since 6th grade when I didn't see him like that. He's a year older though. :P ))

Aislinn listened in absolute silence as Kolian told her. She nodded before saying, "Now, hold on just a minute. She doesn't have anything, dear." Aislinn said gently, but firmly. "There's nothing in the world that proves that Wren likes Lionel, except your gut feeling, which by the way, love, is currently receiving shock therapy." Aislinn looked away. "But I understand where you're coming from. It's painful to see someone you love being lost to someone else. Especially when you're there to witness it. It's a big blow to the heart."
Aislinn led Kolian into the Lyon's coven house. She sat Kolian on the couch and went into the fridge to bring her some blood. She heated it up with quick hands as well as fixing herself some, and went back to Kolian. Handing her a hot mug, Aislinn sat down beside Kolian, kicking off her heels. As much as she loved wearing them, they were a pain in the ass.
"And I don't think you're seeing the big picture here." Aislinn said. "To me, a beautiful person is one with inner beauty as well as outer beauty. I know, it's a cliche, but humor me," she said, bringing her knees up to her chest and looking at Kolian with a wise, frank gaze. "We all know Wren has a bit of work to do on her inner beauty, though I can tell her heart's in the right place."
Aislinn had no clue if this was doing the younger vampire any help at all, but all she could do was bring forth any advice she had on the subject. 'C'mon, Ash,' she told herself. 'Go back to that time when you were in Kolian's position. Live and learn...'
It was still painful to look back on that one time Aislinn had fallen in love. Fallen, crashed and died. On the inside, at least. She'd given the boy a chance, and let her walls fall down. It was as if he bombed the sanctuary inside, and made Aislinn repair it, brick by brick. She'd never let her iron gates open again.
Aislinn snapped back to the present, sipping her mug, mulling over her words.

Kolian crossed her legs as she sat in the Lyons home. Her chest hurt. She looked up and gave Aislinn a kind smile when the girl brought her a mug filled with warm blood. Kolian took it gratefully and drank her fill. She was thirsty and she finished it fast. She then set it down and wipes her eyes with her arm. She listened to Aislinn's advice. That was true. Wren had not expressed that she loved Lionel too, but Kolian still felt as if she had lost him - someone important to her. She stared at the empty cup that was settled on the table. She sighed softly and looked over at Aislinn. "thanks." she said quietly. I'm not sure I got your name though... Or the other guy's back there." her voice was soft, and it seemed as if she hadn't found Leo completely invisible. "I'm Kolian." she said and nodded once.

Aislinn nodded, accepting the thanks from Kolian. "I'm Aislinn. Aislinn Carver." a slightly knowing smile came over her face. "That? That was my older brother, Emilio. I call him Leo, since he'll pummel anyone who calls him Emilio to a bloody pulp." she said, taking a gulp of her drink. She fell into silence, thinking about her past. Not quite a pretty picture… She winced. Aislinn snapped at her conscience. 'I thought I wasn't going to think about that anymore.' but Leo's voice told her she'd have to face the music one way or another. Aislinn heaved a sigh. That was Leo and her. popping into each other's self-conscience to give advice to each other. Ah the curses of being close siblings.

Thistle cried into Callum's shoulder all the way home. She was absolutely miserable, the usually hyper and bouncy light gone from her eyes. "Why are we like this, Callum?" she asked softly. She sniffled. "Why do people hate us so much? Is it all our fault?" She looked over Callum's shoulder at the cars going by. The descending sun cast a beautiful shadow over the small town.

"Looking for him." Wren replied, glancing at Leo for a brief moment before her gaze shifted again. That idiot...he wasn't coming after all. Snorting, she turned her head back towards the group and raised an eyebrow at the situation, watching everyone carefully. Kolian looked as though she was on the verge of a mental breakdown. Leo's eyes were driving him back and forth...to Kolian. Lionel had on the look that boys gave her when they had fallen for her. Ohh shit. When he stars falling for you, get out of there. Sable's voice rang in her head. How did he even know that this was going to happen? That idiot. Now the question was, how the hell was she going to back out now?

When Kolian walked past her and onto the street, looking depressed, both of her eyebrows rose and she shot a look at Lionel, clearly blaming him. She didn't often have sympathy for Kolian, heck she never had sympathy for anyone most of the time, but now seemed appropriate. Lionel returned her look with an innocent shrug, clearly saying 'what did I do?' Wren rolled her eyes at him, clearly unhappy with the way things were turning out now. And it didn't help the fact that her eyes kept flickering around, always somehow landing up on Leo. The hell? she thought, smacking herself inwardly and returned to gazing out into the streets, struggling to think of a way to knock Lionel back into shape without involving a blow to his head.

"I hate drama." Rune's voice burst into her thoughts and her head turned to see her youngest brother standing next to her and shaking his head. When the hell did he appear? "All it does it cause heartbreak."

Leo furrowed his brow. Him? Who's him? He shrugged it off. Obviously she wasn't going to tell him, so he sighed, and sat down. "What do we do? Give him a crash course on the last century or two?" Leo asked, raising his eyebrows.
He was burst out of his thinking by Rune. Leo snorted his approval. "Bloody right." he agreed. "And trust me, I've seen the worst of heartbreak. It's not the kindest of all things in this bloody world." he grumbled, running a hand through his sandy hair. He glanced back up at Wren. The setting sun cast a nice glow on her hair. She really was beautiful when she didn't have a huge scowl on her face. Leo wondered who she was looking for. It was really getting to him, though he was usually one for being the cat that got killed by curiosity. Leo blinked his blue eyes before cocking his head and staring off into the distance thinking absentmindedly, or what would look like to an outsider, staring at Wren.

"You know what? That's an idea." Wren snorted, stretching herself out and letting out a yawn. "Sounds like you went through it already, but who hasn't?" Next to her, Rune had already flopped down onto the grass, staring into the sky. She sighed and sat down as well, hugging her legs and resting her chin on her knees. She glanced back at Lionel, who now looked as though he was fighting with himself, trying to distinguish between right and wrong, his head in his hands. "Maybe a good knock would put him straight." Even though she said that, Wren left Lionel to his own battles and just because she really had nothing else better to do, jabbed her youngest brother in the ribs.

"Hey!" Rune glared at her, sitting up. "Back off now will you?" His bicolored eyes flashed with annoyance. As Wren began giggling, Rune's eyes moved from hers and to the bush behind Leo. There was something odd about it, the way it kept moving by itself without wind. He narrowed his eyes and got up, stalking past Leo, noticing that he seemed to be staring at his now giggling sister and gave the bush a few rough shakes. He was met with a loud 'ow!' and a figure came flying out of it, landing flat on Leo. "Ouch."

"Sable." Rune shook his head while Wren's eyes lit up with delight. "You couldn't call now could you?"

Leo shook his head, smiling. "Not me. My sister." Leo said, tilting his head slightly to look at Wren. "When Aislinn's sad, there isn't anyone around who doesn't feel it. Even when we were humans, the milk man's horse left the house in a gloomy mood." Leo followed Wren's gaze to Lionel and sighed. "Bugger," he exhaled and lay down on the grass. He didn't think anything of it when Rune got up and walked out of his view. He probably just went off like Aislinn. Leo gazed up at the sky, which, ironically was being painted a blood red by the setting sun. The clouds were dyed a light pink with the usually blue sky a scarlett color.
He closed his blue eyes sighing, not wanting for any of this to happen. Though he realized that a lot of these events were bringing the covens closer together, which seemingly rarely happened. In a way it was a good thing, Leo figured, but where heartbreak was involved, it never ended without breaking a few- "OW!" Leo roared, immediately going into hunter mode and kicking the body off of him. "What the-" Leo jumped up, glaring down at the figure he'd kicked off, none too gently. "Oh. Sorry." he quickly figured what happened, and held a hand out to the figure. "Sorry, mate." he said, rubbing his stomach. If he weren't a vampire, that blow would have knocked the wind clean out of him. Now it just smarted.
"Yeah," he agreed with Rune. "You couldn't have called? You know, saved a guy a beating from his sister for throwing another guy off of him in self defense?"
Aislinn was all about first impressions and politeness, even though she never practiced what she preached. Leo made a face at Wren, his blue eyes glinting. "Is this yours?" he nudged Sable on the gorund.

"Your sister." Wren echoed, raising an eyebrow at him before glancing away again. When Leo let out an angry roar and the loud thud of someone kicking something could be heard, her head whirled to one side to see her favorite brother sprawled out on the ground, dazed after the kick. Wren began laughing; the sight was extremely comical. It was the first time she laughed after a long time, other than the times when she laughed nastily at Rune for pulling his legs; the laugh was clear and pure like a bell. "He's mine." she gasped out, trying unsuccessfully to hide her laughter. "Oh laugh at me now will you." Sable snorted, taking Leo's hand and helping himself up. Damn that kick hurt. "Nah. If I called, you lot would have heard me anyway." He made a face before it settled back down into his trademark warm, relaxed smile. "I'm guessin' that you're Aislinn's brother." he said over his shoulder while walking over to the laughing Wren and scooping her off the ground. He glanced towards Lionel and frowned. "Lionel has fallen for Wren isn't it? Maybe you should go see how Kolian's doing..."

Leo grinned at Wren as she burst into laughter. Making people laugh always made him feel good, especially if they were previously in a bad mood. He grinned at Sable. "Yup, that's me the last time I checked." he said, getting up, leaning against the post. He watched as Sable picked Wren up off the ground. He could tell they were brother and sister. They had the same stunning eyes.
Leo nodded. "Mother Aislinn's already on the job." he jerked his head toward the house. "She's in there comforting Kolian, no doubt." he looked for a long time toward the house as if longing to go in there, but Aislinn was better with comforting words than he was.

"Mother Aislinn?" Sable repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Your sister must be that good. Unlike someone here..." He grinned and almost had his eyes clawed out by Wren, who gave him a look. Both of them noticed Leo looking at the house as though he was longing to go in there, but he didn't dare to. They exchanged looks; Sable grinning and Wren well, hers was unreadable. He frowned and shrugged, putting her down onto the grass before walking over and threw an arm over Leo's shoulder as though they had known each other for years. "I need to have a little chat with Kolian." he chirped. "I'm sure you do too. Let's go~" Without giving Leo a chance to protest, he began half dragging him towards the house.
Wren watched them leave, her head tilting to one side before she sat down again, not wanting to upset Kolian any further now that Lionel had his eyes on her. "Little bird?" she snorted, repeating what Lionel had called her while picking at the grass with her perfectly manicured nails. She of course knew that she had been named after a bird; a small one in fact but she didn't appreciate him calling her that. It made her feel more...vulnerable.

I had the best birthday-day EVER (that you can have, at school XD) My brother (a friend I call my brother) He bought be a birthday present and made it look like a panda and it's SO CUTE and then my boyfriend kissed me for the first time and it was FANTASTIC so I had my first kiss and then my friends kept singing happy birthday to me! 8D ))

Kolian smiled a little at Aislinn. Emilio. The name Emilio was a pretty one, she thought. She wondered what he'd say to her calling him Emi? She looked over at Aislinn for a while before looking back over at her empty cup. Her small smile soon fell and she wiped her eyes and cheeks. Her face was still a bit tearstained and painful to look at. However, she had no idea what to think of the situation anymore. It hurt badly, but at the same time something inside of her was yelling to pull it together.
Kolian leaned her head back against the couch and looked up at the ceiling. Her hazel eyes had a hint of green in them today. It matched her clothes well. Kolian pulled her legs up and curled up into a ball of sorts while she sat there silently alongside Aislinn.
