| Aimee stretched her arm out a bit and rolled her shoulder. Man, couldn't kids be considerate about the people who had to clean these desks? She looked down at the faded doodle and she sighed, then continued to scrub away until it was gone. When she was done, she put everything away and sighed. "thank you so much Aimee, I can't thank you enough for all this." Her teacher's words echoed. Her teacher had left hours ago because the woman had to get out of school early. Aimee looked around the classroom, pleased with her work. Spotless. But, knowing the people here, this room would be ten times dirtier tomorrow. She sighed deeply and gathered her things, putting her books away in her backpack and sliding it onto her back. Aimee was still thinking of James and the way he had looked at his cellphone, the way he had texted back so vigorously as if it was his last chance. She smiled a bit. It was nice to know James was probably falling in love. For some reason, she felt happy from him, like a little sister. She pressed her lips together as she left the classroom, locking the door behind her. She noticed from the way the hall was lit up, that the rain had let up. She was glad about that. Aimee walked down the hallway, and peeked into the detention class. Everyone was gone. She shrugged it off. Maybe she'd missed Quill, but they'd been talking alot lately, so she shouldn't worry too much. She wandered down the hallways, waving and politely saying goodbye to all the teachers. Aimee, teacher's pet and the most popular girl in school. She laughed inwardly at herself. She took her time, going to her locker and shoving her homework in. She had finished her homework during school, so she left it in her locker so she didn't have to take it home. She then put her backpack up. There was absolutely no reason for her to take /that/ home. She stuck her phone into her pocket and took off the headband, wrapping it around her wrist and brushing out her hair with her fingers. She then closed her locker and made her way down the main hall to the exit. She saw a young girl hand Quill something, and she smiled to herself, shaking her head. She wondered what it was. At least she hadn't missed Quill. He went out the door and she took in a deep breath, walking out as well. He had made it away from her and was looking across the school campus at another girl. Aimee paused and watched as the girl launched herself at Quill, kissing him passionately on the lips. Without knowing it, Aimee had taken a few steps to the side as if to avoid them and go around Quill. She paused. If Quill looked around a bit - or even a little he would see her in plain sight. Aimee just looked on. She had no idea what was going on in her mind or in her heart, all she knew was that a moment ago she had a heart full of hope and dreams, and almost in one instant it had been stepped on. Crushed into a million pieces by one moment. Aimee just stood there, not knowing what to say or do. The girl obviously knew Quill, and he apparently knew her. Aimee continued to just stand there, her eyes on Quill, her gaze not breaking away. She waited for his eyes... waited. The expression on her face was almost scary. It was disappointed, upset, heartbroken and angry all at once. Her eyes were on his as she waited for his gaze to lock onto her's. the wind picked up gently, causing her hair to blow a little. Aimee noticed how cold it was today, because of the clouds. However, nothing was more cold and painful than what she had just witnessed. | |

| "Quill?" Alice questioned pulling away from him. Her eyes searched his following where they met dead on with another girl. Alice felt dazed quickly she moved away from Quill, her world was a little dizzy for a second. "Who-" Quill mouth ran dry at one look at Aimee. Of coarse before he could even short his feelings she showed up. He looked slowly from Aimee to Alice. His partner and crush, to his ex-girlfriend. Crud. Yes crud was a good word to describe a situation like this. "Um hey Aimee," he said. He was moments away from quickly explaining the situation. Who Alice was what she was doing her. But wait he didn't know why she was here. He had no reasoning. And then it hit him sure he felt something for Aimee but they were friends. Friends not lovers. Kissing Alice wasn't cheating on her for they weren't together. Sure he felt more for Aimee than a friend, but logically there was no reason for him to appear guilty. So he did his best not to. She looked so hurt... but... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Quill's no good with over loads... haha. | |

| Vivian slowly shook her head and went to the sink to drain her tea cup as well. She thought she could handle being in the same room as Callum without having a heavy heart, but the way she felt right now told her otherwise. "No, thank you though. It's sweet of you to say," she said quietly, lifting herself up onto the counter top. She looked down and dangled her legs. Usually she had so much to say...
((sorry that was short. Also so where are James and asol right now?))

Aimee just looked at the two for a long time, her eyes locking with Quill's. He had beautiful eyes. When she looked at them she realized how in love she was with him, not just because he was handsome - because he was kind, smart, athletic... he was every girl's dream boy and she knew it. There would always be someone better than her, someone who could out do her and steal his heart. She didn't waste a moment more with him, there. She just turned away, but not before giving him one look that suddenly showed how angry she really was. Aimee walked away from him, from the school, from that girl. All she wanted to do was get home right now. Smashing her heart into a million pieces was one thing, but it had been done by the most amazing boy in this school. She knew he shouldn't feel guilty, nor should he have anything to say to her. He had a girlfriend, of course, how could she be so stupid as to think he didn't? It was at that moment that she realized how badly she wanted him to love her. She wanted his love so much and for some reason she saw it out of her reach. She could never have it, no matter how much she wanted it. There were plenty of other boys in the school, but none ever could compare to Quill. Maybe James could, but he was like the brother she never had. The playful one, not the uptight gamer who could care less what she did, but the caring one. Aimee held in all her pain that she had recieved from seeing that one moment, and she held it so that her heart ached with each beat. She wanted to get out of here. The end of the school grounds wasn't too far away. Any closer and sure enough she'd be able to cry without anyone she knew seeing her tears.

| Callum nodded and looked at her as she pushed herself up onto the counter. He leaned against the opposite counter and watched her. "If you say so." He smiled, but it was a gentle one. "tell me about England." he said, "I want to know what it was like for you." he explained, "I, personally haven't ever been out of America." he said, watching her still. He could tell she had gotten better, but 'getting better' took a little more than a trip. As callum leaned against the counter, he blinked as a little kitten ran past his feet, and around his feet several times. Callum made the mistake of standing up to look at the thing. "What are you--" Callum took a step and tripped over the cat. he tried to keep his balance, but that only made him fall backwards, and onto his behind. He rubbed his head and groaned, but what a sight. he must have looked hilarious when he fell. How could such a giant be tripped by such a tiny kitten. The white cat leaped into his lap and he looked down at it with his blue eyes. "Get outta here." he said. The kitten seemed to laugh at him before running out the backdoor - which had been left a crack open. Callum sighed and leaned his head back against the cabinets. He recognized that kitten to be the one he had found in the streets a long time ago with Fern. He smiled inwardly at the thought. It kept coming back, but he could tell it avoided Matthew. | |

| Quill blinked he'd messed up. He's messed up so horrible bad. He didn't know what to do. Go after her? Yes he should. Leave Alice alone without an explanation. "You have a girlfriend already?" Alice asked her voice soft it cracked a little at the end but she didn't cry. She looked hurt but it was obvious she was trying to hide that. "She's not my girlfriend," Quill said his eyes on Aimee. "I wouldn't believe you. Not with that look on your face." Quill looked at her. Out of all the girls he dated why had it have to be Alice to show up. With no other would he have this much trouble with this. He'd never liked any girl before like what he was starting to feel for Aimee. Not Alice not anyone. But Alice had been the one girl he'd wanted nothing more than to feel that spark. "Go, don't give me that surprised look. I messed something up now go. I'll talk to you at the house." "Your staying at my house?" "How else do you think your father would have it?" Quill nodded. Stupid he was just stupid. And with the mental abuse up a notch he wasn't going to say no to Alice's understanding whatever it might mean later. Starting off in a run Aimee was just passing over to the sidewalk off school grounds. "Aimee wait!" | |

| (( DUDE DON'T GO AFTER HER >< at least not now o .o; I feel like I'm watching a soap opera, and shouting at it as if the characters can hear me. XDDD ))
Aimee crossed the street, off school grounds and as she did, tears rose into her eyes as if on cue. She sniffled some, trying not to cry that much. She didn't want to cry over a boy who had a girlfriend. That would be stupid, but she did anyway. Aimee didn't wipe away the tears, she just let them flow. As they ran down her cheek, she wiped her eyes several times with her hand but the water kept coming. She kept walking, even when she heard Quill call out for her. Just leave me alone. She thought, Leave me to drown in my tears and pain. Aimee walked on, not even looking back to witness him coming after her. It just wasn't worth her strength, if she had any. She was going to the gymnasium. She went there when she was sad, when it was empty she'd practice her routines until her heart gave out, or until she fell and didn't have the strength to get back up again. When she was sad she would cry, and even if the tears blurred her vision she'd keep going, eventually having something to let her fall off and just lay there. She felt the tears and saw how the blurred her vision. She continued wiping them away right now, so she could see. Why did love have to hurt so much? She'd never loved, or had such a strong crush before in her entire life. She had never dated, and never kissed, and here she was having her heart broken way before she dated or kissed anyone. Sad... sad... she felt like she was just drowning.

| Vivian watched as Callum tripped over the small cat. It was so funny. Vivian got down, and walked over to Callum. Instead of helping him up, she knelt down and joined him on the floor. England. What was it like? "Less modern. It was refreshing. And everybody had British accents, obviously." Vivian had acquired a slight accent of her own. It was barely there, but easily noticeable. She looked after the white cat, and smiled. It was a small smile, but a little light came into her eyes. "That kitty better stay away from Matthew." The small kitten returned, poking it's white fluffy head back in, and padding silently over to Vivian. It purred, closing its eyes and rubbed against Vivian. She reached a hand out and scratched it's ear. "Wow, you'd blend in with my room, little guy." she turned to Callum, still un smiling. "Does he have a name?" | |

| Callum blinked and smiled when Vivian joined him on the floor. He listened to her and nodded, "You have a little bit of an accent yourself." he said with a light nod. He looked over at the cat as it came back. "What're you doing here?" he asked it, "Shoo. You made me trip. Now I'm mad at you." he said. The way he talked would have made any normal person laugh. he looked at Vivian as she petted the cat. "Yeah, he knows how to stay away from matthew." he said. He watched her a little bit more, "He doesn't have a name. Fern and I found him on the street one day and I took him in, gave him a bath and some food then let him run off. He comes back every once in a while when he's sure Matthew's not around. Matthew almost attacked the little guy and gave him a heart attack." Callum laughed softly at the memory. He thought about Matthew with his own british accent, like Cecil. He then looked back at the cat. "He likes you." he commented, watching it rub against her and purr. | |

| Quill slowed down, he knew she'd heard him. He felt like kicking something. But the only option was a fire hydrant and he liked his foot so he didn't. What was he supposed to say anyway? Thats my ex-girlfriend. Don't mind her though she's just the best friend of my Dad's daughter. Where's she staying? Oh not at my house thats for sure... Why was Alice even here? They both agreed a long distance relationship wasn't something they wanted. She said she fell for someone else anyway... He thought of his father the so many lengths he would go to make him proud to make him to notice him. Alice was one of the very things that always would have made him happy. He was the one who introduced them. And he hadn't proclaimed higher how much he would have loved them together. What parent didn't one day dream of their kid marring the child of their friend? But he wouldn't marry a girl he didn't love. He always stuck by that. There was a lot of things he would do for his father but he wouldn't fake love. But that exclude trying to love someone. It wasn't hard to like Alice. She was amazing. And yes he'd gone out with her for quiet some time to. She'd used him in that aspect, she liked him a lot he knew that. But she knew what it meant from him as his father. But after no spark and the move coming up they split up. But the slow dull mind set still drilled in his head. Why couldn't he feel the way he felt about Aimee to Alice? She'd be happy, he'd be happy his father would be happy... Looking at Aimee's retreating figure he knew he wouldn't do it though. He wouldn't try to be Alice's anything, not while he felt this way about Aimee. He'd just have to work harder at sports something else to make his father notice him. Alice deserved better any way. "You stopped running," Alice's voice said and he looked up. "I wasn't going to follow," she said hands in the air defensively. "But you stopped, it's about to rain and I have a car." She pointed over to the blue sports car in the school driveway. "Right," he nodded trying to save face. She smiled at him. "Your so silly thinking you can hide it." "Hide what?" he tried to play dumb immediately seeing his mistake. "You love her." "You gonna kill me now?" "No," Alice blinked. "But I do think it's time to step my game up." She stepped forward towards him and he held out his hand before her lips could met their aim. She smirked at it an eyebrow raising. "You always were the perfect boyfriend Quill, what I don't get it why you haven't sweaped her off her feet yet." "Alice?" "Yeah." "Just shut up." She looked at him a long moment before nodding not at all offended. "Whatever you say." | |

| Setting down the phone Hattie sighed. "Fine." Loretta zipped the final bag closed. She couldn't believe she actually had to run her choices by someone. She of course understood the reasoning of the older vampire but seriously be passed off from one to the next. Of course this was her choice. This was her old coven that she was returning to and she needed it. They were in Germany right now, she didn't know much German but she was glad either way it wouldn't be Ireland. It would bring back to much. "Right my plane is in an hour but I should probably get a start to the airport as soon as the cab arrives." Hattie massaged her temples. A change of scenery. Old friends? Psh. But either way Stuart seemed to care about Loretta she'd give the leader that. She couldn't go on acting like her mother. If Loretta wanted to die fine. But it just wasn't in her nature to let that happen. But she supposed if she died in England it couldn't very much be her fault. "Will you ever come back?" she asked looking up at Loretta. She didn't reply. Of coarse. "Right well you tell Callum then," Hattie said jumping off the office chair. The room looked so bare with all of Loretta's things gone. Loretta nodded the one thing she was dreading. Leaving the bulk of her things on the bed she walked out of her bedroom looking over the stairs balcony, she could just see him and Vivian on the floor. She had to go soon, she had to tell him before the cab came. But she didn't want to go in there now. She didn't want to steal the show from Vivian there. She must hate her enough. At least she was getting the room back to herself. | |

| (( oOo Quill should go to Aimee's Balcony. XDD romantic yes? XD ))
Aimee didn't hear anything else from Quill. He wasn't going to follow her, he didn't care that much to do that. Her thoughts were darker and left her with the dull side. They were thoughts that girls with lower self esteem thought. Stuff like, 'I'm not pretty enough, he's too good for me, I'm not smart' It was thoughts similar to those that she was thinking. The main one, was He doesn't care about me enough to follow me. Aimee walked on. It didn't take long for it to start raining. Good, something to disguise her tears and to match her mood. She looked crazy. She wore nothing but a tshirt and shorts, and the headband on her wrist and it was raining, it was windy, and it was cold. SHe trudged all the way to the gym and looked at it for a long time. No, not in the mood. Even the gymnastics gym couldn't make her feel better. She walked on. Aimee soon found herself at her own house, the place that she could really be at peace. By now, she was drenched from head to toe in water, and the tears hadn't stopped coming. Aimee sniffled a little to herself as she stood in the driveway. The front door swung open and her brother stood on the porch under an awning and looked at her in the driveway. "Are you insane?! Aimee come in!" He yelled, but it was obvious he was concerned. She sniffled again and wiped her eyes. Her brother's face dropped when he realized something awful must have happened. He grabbed the umbrella by the door and ran outside, opening it up as he did so. He sighed when he came up to her. "Come on, Aimee." He wrapped her arm around her and sighed, leading her inside. He put the umbrella down and ran off, getting her a towel and wrapping it around her shoulders as she stood dripping at the front door. "You'll catch a cold if you stay like that. Go upstairs and get cleaned up." Aimee wasted no time trudging upstairs to her room. She grabbed some dry clothes and went to the bathroom to shower, and change into clean clothes. She'd changed into a fitted white tank top and blue sleeping shorts. She'd dried her hair and put her wet clothes in the dryer along with the headband so that they could dry. She turned it on and went to her room, flopping down onto her bed and curling up. It was dead silent in her room and she crawled across her bed to her nightstand where a notebook sat. She opened it up and picked up the pencil that was laying beside it, then put pencil to paper as soon as she opened to the right page. She had been writing a story in it, but suddenly there was nothing to write. All she could think about was Quill. His eyes, his fluffy hair, his model-perfect body... she closed the notebook and tossed it aside. She curled up on top of the covers and closed her eyes, and fell asleep. Nighttime came fast and with it, the rain left. Stars shone brightly on the wet grounds and it looked almost magical outside. That would be what Aimee would say. As if little dwarfs had littered the world with their diamonds and as if unicorns had placed the light in the sky. Aimee woke up and laid there. Doing absolutely nothing.

| Quill hadn't ate much for dinner and now as he stared out the window he knew he had to go and try to explain to Aimee. Even if it was silly, even if they weren't dating he needed to go and explain. "What I don't get it why you haven't sweaped her off her feet yet." Alice's words echoed in his head. She was asleep in the other room now, jet lag. He still hadn't gotten much explanation as to why she was here. But he did know it was for more than a week. Grabbing his wallet and phone he stuffed it in his pocket and headed out the doors. He was glad the rain stopped but something told him even if he hadn't he would have came. It was pitch dark by the time that he reached Aimee's house. And the grass was wet. He looked at the balcony, the lack of lights in the house told him that Aimee's brother was probably asleep. But he remembered what Aimee said about him and didn't want to risk waking him. Again he looked at the balcony. He felt stupid but he grabbed a few peaces of gravel off the road and through them up to hit the glass at ten second intervals.

| Aimee was in a daze, just staring out the double french doors to her balcony. She watched the water run across it and she could see the puddles on the balcony, reflecting the full moon as well as the stars that scattered across the sky. She wondered if there were such things as werwolves. If so, did they all come out when the moon was full? Or did they change every night? Or... did they change when they felt like it? Yes, she had read twilight, and she had laughed when she realized how off Stephanie Myer was. Aimee looked out and could see the tops of trees, as well as the deep blue abyss that was the sky. She wondered what it would be like to be up in space, to see the stars as if they were jewels planted there by some other force. Aimee found herself daydreaming of space and fairy tales when her thoughts were immediately interrupted by a 'Click' as a rock hit her window. Aimee stared at the french doors for a long time - which provided her as an entrace to the balcony as well as a large window in itself. Ten seconds later another one hit the window. Okay, One - that didn't happen often. Two - there weren't any birds flying by. Aimee took a deep breath and sighed. Whoever was standing out there she wanted them to go away. They couldn't possibly understand how she felt at the moment. Ten seconds after the second piece of gravel, another one hit. Okay, maybe they weren't going to let up. She sat up and glanced over at her mirror. She looked fine. Aimee rubbed her eyes to get the sleep to go away and she stood up, opening the doors a bit and waiting a moment before she walked out. She sighed deeply and leaned on the stone railing. it was wet, but it had dried a little. She looked down and saw Quill. Suddenly she felt the same shattering feeling inside her chest. She looked at him for a long time then stood up and turned slightly as if she were going to leave. | |

| "Uh oh, the coven leader doesn't like you." Vivian said softly to the cat. "You mind if I call you Casper? Like the ghost?" Vivian giggled as the kitten leapt onto her lap and looked up at her with round blue eyes. It seemed to be saying yes. "It seems to like you." The first male thing ever to like me it seems like. Vivian wanted to say dryly, but she held her tongue. It wasn't Callum or anyone's fault he didn't like her. Love just is. And it sucked. Vivian remembered something she'd heard in her childhood. "Love is fair. Love is kind. Love means slowly losing your mind." Vivian remembered that quote for some reason, and it made her laugh. She looked at Callum. Vivian glanced outside as it began to rain. Aimee was not thr only one who was in a gloomy mood. Callum had hurt her so much, yet it was so unintentional. Still... Vivian thought about it. She liked Callum, Callum liked Loretta, Loretta liked... That was a mystery. Callum was handsome, kind, funny...Vivian shook herself. If she kept dwelling on this, she was going to re-break her heart again. But still, she couldn't help thinking. Did she hate Loretta because Callum liked her and not Vivian? No... I think I just hate the fact that Callum likes Loretta and not me...Vivian pondered. I'm just on the outside looking in. All the while, she realized she was looking at Callum, and she stopped, averting her eyes to The newly named Casper in her lap. | |

| "Ouch," Quill muttered, but that was the last good humor he had. Because with that word out all patience left at that moment Quill was man. She had no right to be mad at him. He'd done nothing wrong, he ran after her he'd called to her and she didn't do anything. He came to her house and now she was going to go back in. And he wouldn't have it. It didn't work that way. He wasn't a selective friend that she could just choose to have or not have. "If you walk back inside I swear to you Aimee I'll never talk to you again except for hunts. I won't come back here. If you walk back in there you're making the choice to end our friendship right there not me." His tone was harsh something Aimee had probably never heard from him. She'd never seen him angry. Injured, annoyed, sad, fighting she'd seen all those. Mad, confused, and clouded by emotions no. His tone was terse his arms crossed as he looked up at her. He didn't do this drama, this shit this woe is me crap. He felt something strong for Aimee but if she was going to go back into her room no explain to him why she was even mad at him than she was no better than all the other girls he'd met. And if that was the case he would get over her. For she wasn't who he thought she was anyway. | |

| Callum smiled a bit as Vivian talked to the cat. "Casper. He's certainly white enough." Callum reached over and fluffed the cat's fur a bit, then laughed lightly. Cute. "Don't let him stay though. Matthew might attack him again." Callum said as he watched Casper look up at Vivian. So cute. Kids liked vivian, and animals too. Callum thought that maybe only kids liked him. He couldn't quite say that all animals liked him. He could say that cat liked him. The thing adored Callum for cleaning it and feeding it while it was on the brink of death. Callum heard footsteps and sat up, looking up the stairs to see Loretta with bags in hand. Why was she there with all those bags? Where was she going? He sat there. She couldn't possibly be leaving again. A frown passed over Callum's face. | |

| Aimee stopped dead in her tracks, her foot in a puddle. She moved her foot out of the puddle. She had heard Quill's threat all right, and no way she was going to end their friendship. She cared about him too much to do anything like that. Sniffling a bit, a few tears rose to her eyes again and she wiped them away. Without really turning to look at him, she raised a hand and pointed to the side of the balcony. There was a ladder on the side, covered in some sort of flowery vine that climbed. Her brother had put that there when they had gotten the house, claiming that she could use it as a fire escape. At the time he didn't think that it could possibly be used for her to sneak out, or for someone to sneak in. Aimee wasn't one to sneak out, but sometimes she did have her friends come over and climb up that ladder so she could talk with them without her brother really knowing. Aimee let her hand drop after she pointed to the ladder, and she finished wiping her eyes. Her blue eyes were stil just as bright in the dark as they were in the day, and they were illuminated by the moonlight when she looked over at the ladder, waiting to see Quill come up it. His tone had been harsh and it had scared her, but he had a right to be mad at her. Anyone did if they had no idea how she felt about them and suddenly she was mad and crying and all that jazz. She stood where she was, not daring to take another step closer to the open doors, for fear he would leave, and call their friendship off forever. If there was no possible way for them to be together, she could always admire him from afar, and be friends. She didn't want to be the one to end it. | |

| Loretta closed her eyes as if it hid her for a moment then slowly opened him back. She was found out, she glanced at Vivian for a second then back to the bags in her hands. She'd have to come back up for her trunk. Coming down the stairs she set them beside the door and slowly came back to the kitchen where the two sat her eyes on the ground. She wore a long gray turtleneck sweater that trailed down to her knees making her look even litter than she was. Her sleeves cover her hands but as she shuffled her hands out to pressed them together in an awkward way to examine her nails looking for a distraction, you could see the pink fingerless gloves she normally wore. Pink lace leggings passed the sweaters hem by just a few inches down to her boots. Another odd style only she could really pull off. Her golden wavy hair was pulled into short pigtails and her side bangs placed off to the right. Another result of her haircut. Small footsteps could be heard coming out of her room to watch for herself from the balcony. "I'm leaving," she said and she made a conscious effort to look up as she told him. But just as her voice floated away so did her eyes. | |

| Callum looked at Loretta for a long time. She was leaving again. He nodded his head slowly and stood up. "We'll miss you." he said softly, "Is there anything I can do to help you?" he looked at her for a bit. Loretta was leaving. He wasn't going to stop her. If every coven member wanted to get up and leave him permanently then so be it. He would be the only vampire in this house. He would never stop them from leaving. If that is what they really wanted, then he wasn't going to stop them. "Loretta, I want you to understand that you shouldn't be upset about anything, and I want you to have a good trip." he said kindly, and gently. "Will you come back?" He asked, the question had been tugging at his mind as he had watched her. He wanted her to come back. Go away, get better, then come back, happy again. That is really what he wanted. Callum also wanted to help his friend. It was obvious, since she was telling him, that she was going away for a long time. He knew she had to have more luggage than what she had pulled down, and he wanted to help her and to see her off. It would give him some sort of peace of mind to know that he had seen her off instead of her just leaving with no one there to say goodbye. | |
