Sol blushed and smiled shyly as he told her she was also a good kisser. This was turning out to be the best first date she had ever been on. Her smile was soft as he said they were fine to the waitress then looked at her. The waitress nodded with a smile and left. 
Sol's heart would be pounding in her chest as she watched James. His eyes made her feel weak. Where he had kissed her, her lips still tingled and she was still so happy from it. Sol wouldn't, of course, say so out loud, but she kind of wanted to kiss him again, and again. 
Her own thoughts made her feel shy. Oh he was amazing. His laughter made her smile and his personality had her wanting him to never stop speaking. He was amazing, funny, brilliant, handsome, sweet, kind and... Wonderful. Sol knew she was a vampire, and knew he was human. Technically she was an old woman. But when she had stopped aging, so had her personality. She was still a teenager, and forever would be. Sol couldn't explain how happy she was to be with James, but the thought of ever leaving him was heartbreaking. She didn't want to leave him, but since he was human she knew the time would come. She would either have to move away with the Lyons coven one day, or something... Because ten years from now, when she didn't look 27, things would be weird and he would start to notice. She wanted them to be together forever but the only solution to that was for her to bite him. And she was almost sure he wouldn't want her to do that. 
James was an amazing guy but Sol sadly knew that most boys wouldn't give their lives for their highschool lover.

After lunch, Sol couldn’t stop thinking about James. Everything that happened passed through one ear, and out the other. She couldn’t stop day dreaming and thinking about him. The way he smiled… the way his eyes glinted in the sun, the way he kissed…
“Soliara Alexander are you paying any Attention?” The teacher’s eyes were narrowed as she stared at one of her many students. Sol’s eyes flickered up to meet the teacher’s and it almost seemed as if she was going pale. “I-I apologize, I wasn’t listening.” Sol said, feeling meek. The teacher scoffed. “I should write you a detention.” She muttered under her breath, but made no such movements towards the detention slips. She began to teach again, and Sol gradually relaxed. She sighed, letting out a held breath then looked up at the teacher as she proceeded to teach Science.
Sol was anxious to leave school, she wanted to see James badly and she knew that once school ended she could see his face once again. It was nice to feel in love again, after Jamie had left, but there was something slightly more… exciting about this relationship. Sol couldn’t understand what, but she did know it was a great feeling.
Finally, the bell rang and Sol gathered her books. Teenagers filed out of the class and Sol followed after. She went to her locker and stored her books away, quickly pulling out her white tote which she had drawn on and painted herself. She then slid her notebooks and books into it, closing her locker. She reached into her skirt pocket and drew out her cell phone. She then walked on out of the school, slowly.
Thankfully, Sol could multi-task; otherwise she would be running into people. She pulled up James’s name and proceeded to text him.

James, meet me outside of the school. I’ll be waiting (=

Sol smiled and sent the text. She didn’t know about him, but she was so excited to see James. He made her whole world light up. She went outside and stood outside the double doors, off to the side so that students wouldn’t run her over. She watched as people of all kinds walked out and into the sunlight. It was a clear day, other than a few cirrus clouds in the sky. Sol smiled as she looked up at the sky, then out at the front of the school.
People continued passing by, paying no attention to the female vampire off to the side. A few times Sol thought she could smell James, but of course that was not so. She was a bit frustrated with herself, but it wasn’t obvious on her face. She knew James’s scent and could find him anywhere, but being anxious made her think that she smelled him.

For a boys bathroom and changing room, it didn't smell as bad as the movies depicted it. James stepped out of the shower room, a towel wrapped around his waist. He quickly rubbed a towel in his hair, walking to his locker. "Hey, James, are you free tonight to hang?"
James turned to look at his fellow team mates, already dressed and ready for the last bell to ring for class. James didn't necessarily look like a misfit, with goth clothing and hair over his eyes, but he had a sort of rugged, effortless look about him that made him look like he was ready for anything that involved highjacking a car, or jumping into a brawl. He could certainly hold his own in a fight, but he never got into any street fights. One would assume his friends to be like hoods, with baggy clothes and misfit personalities. It was quite the opposite. Most of his friends were on his team, got good grades, and weren't exactly 'misfits'. They were class clowns though, and most people thought they were both amazingly funny and borderline annoying. But James didn't care.
James nodded, opening his locker. The lockers were horrible, and they rattled like crazy when someone opened them. James' was stuck, and he had to jerk his open. "Yeah, I don't think I have-shit!" Unfortunately he jerked too hard, and his things came tumbling out on to the stone floor. The door of his locker came off as well. James caught his phone just in time for it to buzz in his hand. He raised an eye brow in surprise and looked at the text. He smiled. Sol.
"Wanna think about changing that answer to a no?" his team teased him, bouncing their eyebrows, knowing very well who the text was from.
"Shut up," James chucked a shoe at the guys, who neatly dodged the missile. "And yeah, I'm ready to change my answer- no, it looks like I got a date." he said, and quickly dressed while his whole team, though all of them were already changed and ready to go, heckled from the side, dodging the various missiles that James threw occasionally.
"Alright, you geeks. I gotta split." he said, smirking at them.
"Ohhhhoooooo....." they wolf called, hooting with laughter. "OI!" James had chucked a last missile at them with ease, catching all of them by surprise: the door of his locker.
He walked out of the locker room, laughing his head off. People walking down the hall gave him weird stares. He ignored them, walking toward the front of the school. He stopped by the cafe, calling for them to throw him a snack. He caught it. It was an apple, blood red, and one of the best brand of apples around.
He saw her, standing alone, waiting patiently. James smiled. Sol. His Angel. Of course he wouldn't say it out loud, but she was his angel, always there, bright and sweet. She affected him more than she realized just by smiling at him.
James threw his apple in a garbage can, grinning. He swooped down on her, giving her a kiss on the mouth. "Hello, sunshine."

Sol continued to wait outside until most of the people had gone, and a few were hanging out around the school waiting for various classes to let out. The bell for the end of school was the same for the entire high school, but different classes, such as gym, let out a bit later because the teens had to change and or shower.
It didn’t take long for Sol to be taken by surprise when James came up and kissed her on the lips. Sol could feel her face grow hot. If she hadn’t been so surprised she would’ve kissed him back. She knew they had just started dating, but it was kind of unfair – in a playful way – that he had kissed her but she didn’t get the chance to kiss him back.
Sol smiled shyly up at James. “Hi.” Was all she could say at the moment. He seemed to leave her speechless and searching for words. She noticed his hair was a bit wet (obviously from his shower, previously). She reached a hand up and gently brushed his hair through with her fingers so that it was out of his eyes. She smiled shyly as she looked up at him and she withdrew her hand. “You showered.” She said and laughed softly.
He still smelled like apples, but she could smell (and kind of taste) the apples in his breath. She decided not to comment on that. He smelled sweet and she liked it, though strangely enough she wasn’t tempted for his blood. She didn’t want to drink his blood, which was probably the reason why he didn’t tempt her with his scent.
"Do you want to do something together?" she said softly, smiling up at him.

((Ohoo, I also was gonna say that I read a book called To Catch a Pirate by Jade Parker, and I based James off of the main male character in the book, who is also called James.
It's also often put in the book that James "stole" a kiss from Annalisa, the main girl, and I thought it was kind of funny and ironic when you put that it was unfair. It reminded me of James stealing kissed from Annalisa in the book.

Matthew’s mouth was opened wide in a yawn as he walked on out of the school. He was carrying his skateboard in one hand, and his backpack was slung over his shoulder. Once he was off of school grounds he dropped his skateboard and jumped on, skating home to Merrill. It didn’t take him long, and once he reached the house he hurried inside.
Matthew went to take a shower so he could feel nice and clean before putting on his regular attire. He wore a pair of khaki shorts and a black graphic tee. He put on some socks and shoes before grabbing his cell phone and slipping it into his pocket. He looked around his room that he shared with Cecil before he left, grabbing his skateboard once again.
Matthew went to the fridge to get himself some doe blood – his favorite – before he went outside. Matthew dropped his skateboard on the ground and stepped on. He was going to see Grace. He skated off, pushing off with his foot and going down the sidewalk. It felt so much better to be in his own clothes, and he couldn’t remember why he had tried Callum’s on. Matthew grinned a little to himself and watched sidewalk disappear under his board.
It didn’t take long for Matthew to arrive at the Lyon’s home, and he stopped skateboarding at the end of their driveway. He stomped on the back of the skateboard so it flew up and into his hand that had been ready. He picked it up and walked up to the Lyons home, knocking lightly on the door and waiting for someone to answer. Matthew wondered if they were even home yet. He wasn’t that fast when it came to showering and stuff, but he supposed that some people could be held back in school, or just be slow walkers.

James loved it when he made Sol blush, which seemed to be all the time, especially when he was either shirtless or kissing her. Either way, it made him laugh inside. "Yeah, I showered," he said, running a hand through his hair. "Sorry, I'm a bit late, but the guys gave me a bit of trouble when I was trying to get ready, and then there was a bit of a fiasco with my locker...." he trailed off, realizing he was ranting. Why was he ranting? He didn't know. Probably because he felt he could tell Sol anything. He stopped, and smiled, taking her hand in his. Lacing their fingers together, he started walking. "Sure, what would you like to do?" Fly to the moon? He'd do that. Go zip-lining? He'd do that as well, as long as he was with her.

Grace's hair was cut. Only a bit. It used to be far beyond mid back, and now it was nicely cut to the middle of her back. She'd cut herself long side bangs, and parted them to the right, so they framed her face nicely. She looked in the mirror. It was the first haircut she'd given herself, and she'd done a good job on it. Grace ran her fingers through her hair, getting rid of small bits of her hair that she hadn't gotten when brushing.
Black rivers of silkiness ran in the sink, remnants of Grace's hair cutting. She gathered them up with a tissue so they wouldn't clog the drain, and she disposed them in the garbage.
Going upstairs to change from her school clothes into more comfy clothes, Grace took them two at a time, gracefully leaping from stair to stair, and darting into her room. She changed into a pair of Lulu Lemon pants and a white U neck shirt. She went barefoot, padding quietly downstairs and taking out a book, reading.
After a while, she heard the grating sound of wheels on cement outside the house, and her heart leapt. She knew that sound. Leaping up to answer the knock on the door, Grace opened it only a little bit. She smiled. If she were human, her heart would be leaping in her chest right now. "Hello, may I help you?" she asked, eyes shining with joy at seeing Matthew.

Sol smiled a little and looked down at their hands, then looked up at them. She smiled as she was listening to him talk. Sol laughed softly and thought a bit as he asked her what she'd like to do. "I'm not sure." she admitted with a small smile. "maybe we could..." she paused when they were a bit away from school. She pulled him down closer to her and for the first time, she kissed him lightly on the lips.
She smiled brightly, and shyly. She finally got to kiss him for once. She laughed softly. She wouldn't say so out loud, but she did kind of want to kiss a bit more, and learn a thing or two more about James. That sounded nice to her. "How about we go to your place?" she asked softly.

Matthew smiled a little as the door opened. He took one look at Grace and his eyes widened. "Someone got a haircut!" he exclaimed. He grinned, "I just wanna talk to my girlfriend grace." he laughed softly. "Have you seen her?" he grinned brightly.

Grace laughed, and opened the door more, leaning against the frame of the door. "Well, I don't know, what does she look like?" she asked playfully, looking up at Matthew.

Matthew thought a bit. "Let's see. She's short, got black hair..." Matthew leaned closer with each word, and when he described her hair he lifted a hand and ran his fingers through her hair. "She has dark brown eyes, and she's japanese." Matthew laughed softly, leaning closer to her. His lips were right in front of her's. They were so close that he could feel her breath.
Matthew smirked lightly. "She's also an amazing kisser." he whispered, his lips now so close they brushed against her's. Matthew continued to smirk. Grace made him so happy. She was just amazing, and so adoreable. he looked at her black hair and he knew she had cut it by herself. It was good, but he could tell she cut it by herself.

Grace stood on her toes, and put a hand behind his neck, pulling him closer to her. "Well I think I know who you're talking about then." she said, and kissed him fully, smiling. Her toes tingled and a pleasant chill ran up her spine and back down to her toes.

James froze and turned to look at Sol, an unreadable expression on his face. Should they go to his house? There would be nothing there for her. His mother wouldn't be there to warmly welcome his girlfriend with open arms, and his sister wouldn't be there to pounce on Sol with prying questions or tell her she's beautiful, and that her brother chose right to be with Sol. None of that. Only maids, butlers, and his father, who wouldn't even come out of his study.
He sighed heavily. "Alright...." he said slowly. "If you want to..."
The question didn't exactly ruin the mood for James, it just made him think about stuff he had pushed to the back of his mind. But he beamed at Sol, squeezing her hand. She would be with him. It wouldn't be all that bad. "Lets go then."

Matthew chuckled lightly into the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back passionately. As he held her close, he parted for a moment. "yay! I found her." he grinned. "so what's with your hair?" he asked. He ran his fingers through her hair a bit and grinned a little bit more. 
She was such a beautiful girl, and she for him all excited when he saw her. He always remembered everything about her when she kissed him, and when he held her close. 


Sol noticed his expression and the tone if his voice. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze back. "okay." she said softly. She let him lead the way. Something didn't seem entirely right but she didn't comment on it. 
She looked up at him.
