(( She's 'seven'. XD Although I'm probably going to change it to eight or nine. ))

"Yeah, Azrael is here. We were just in the kitchen," Clara said. She nodded once and backed away from the door. "Come in and shut the door," she instructed. She then turned around and started walking back to the kitchen. She motioned for him to follow when he came in.
"Do you want some blood to drink?" She asked, trying to be polite to her guest.

Callum did as was instructed of him. he walked in and closed the door behind him before walking into the kitchen after Clara. He smiled a little and shook his head. "you should know by now that I'm a vegetarian." Callum said, smiling at Clara. "no, but thank you." he then answered formally, smiling still. He couldn't not smile when he was with Clara. He looked around a bit. "how's school been? Have you been going?" he asked curiously, looking down at her again. 
Callum hated looking down at Clara. He wanted to pick her up and carry her instead of looking down at her. It kind of hurt his neck. He wondered if regan was around. He looked around the kitchen, and saw no one except Azrael(I guess o .o) and Clara. He really did want to earn regan's trust, but how? She didn't seem to trust him, though she was very kind towards him.

Quill took a last throw hit the target and the spar was over. "Great job," his partner said and Quill smiled and returned the compliment.
"You were amazing," Alice's eyes glowed from where she sat on the bench. Coming over she passed him a towel and he whipped off his face.
"Thanks but really you know you didn't have to come."
"Aww but I wanted to," she smiled her eyes grazing over the room a few of the other sparrers averting their eyes caught. She giggled at that her blue eyes coming back to rest up on Quills. "Besides what else did I have to do? Sit at home starring at the walls?"
"No the TV, pool, jacuzzi or-"
"I got it," Alice rolled her eyes more playfully than anything else. "Was this your last class we should go and get a bite to eat."
Quill nodded that sounded nice. Following the rest of his class into the showers he went to get changed leaving Alice alone with only the teacher preparing for his next class. She nodded to him heading out into the lobby to see the lone girl standing on the sidewalk. Aimee she would have remembered that face anywhere.
For a moment Alice stood there looking at the girl, beautiful athletic blond what did she have that she did not? What was it that had Quill head over heels for this girl and not her. Perhaps she should find out a little more.
"Hey you're Aimee aren't you," Alice smiled peaking out the dojo doors at her. Looking back Quill was still getting changed she had time so she stepped clearly outside to step up to Aimee, to be at a more comfortable angle for conversation.
Alice wore knee high laced up light brown boots, with a dark navy poof skirt met with a fitted button up white T. The T was only button to the mid-chest revealing a laced pink camisole that peaked at a little bit of cleavage. Nothing slutty but most definitely a tease. The outfit was completed with a pink floral flyaway, and hoop gold earrings. Her hair was styled in aside summery wavy bouffant, she looked styled and cute. And as usual she held this non-threating sweet aura about her.

Aimee looked into the dojo and she could clearly see Quill inside sparring. She smiled a little to herself then watched as he talked to a girl with brown hair. Alice. He walked off to change, and when she saw Alice Aimee had to smile. Who cared anymore? Quill cared for her as a friend and it stopped there. If he found love in this girl, this girl better give him the world. She smiled at Alice kindly as the girl walked out. "hi." Aimee said. Alice was a girly girl, and Aimee could tell just by what she wore. "I'm sorry I ran off the other day, Quill said your name was Alice, am I right?" Aimee's voice didn't once falter and didn't show how jealous she was of Alice. 
Alice was beautiful and obviously very sweet. Maybe she was just more of Quill's type. Aimee herself was wearing her white hightop converse and a pair of Jean shorts. Her top was white as well, with blue stripes. It was a quarter sleeve and the stripes were large and wide, and grey. It also had a thin grey hood in the back, and the collar was a large V neck that also showed the tank top beneath. On her wrist, the headband was twisted.  Somehow, aimee's outfit was similar to Alice's yet different. Aimee looked to be the relaxed, almost tomboy version of Alice. Short hair, more conservative clothing, converse. Yep. She looked to be more of a tomboy than Alice. "yes, I'm Aimee." Aimee said, introducing herself. She didn't cease to smile. 
Aimee wanted to get on the good side of this girl. Best friends of boys should be boys and best friends of girls should be girls. When things switched around, sometimes relationships could be uncomfortable. For example. If she was dating a boy who's best friend was a really attractive girl, Aimee herself would be jealous and most likely not want the girl around her boyfriend. That's what she thought she'd do, anyway. Aimee didn't know what it was like to be in a relationship. It must be nice, though. 
Aimee thought of James and how he acted when he had a mere crush. Yes, relationships must be wonderful. Aimee held her hand out to Alice after her introduction for a handshake. Aimee was right handed and she held out her right hand, also the hand that had the headband twisted around her wrist.

I think they could be really good friends but I don't think Alice would be able to accept that at the moment. Aimee the competition the problem, and even if she's sweet enough not to be rude about it that at least now doesn't change her feelings.

"You are," Alice smiled taking her hand. She had to angle her head upwards to met Aimee's eyes but it was nice. "Oh no worries there," she said in reference to Aimee's apology. "I'm sorry for how we met, I was well I didn't think anyone was there."
She was sweet and Alice couldn't place if that was because it was her personality or if it was something deeper. She certainly hadn't expected her all peaches and cream at their next meeting. She thought about adding it wouldn't happen again with Quill's new attitude. She'd only kissed him once since then and after he'd made it quiet clear where he stood. "Cute headband," she commented as she took her hand away her eyes on it a second before looking out at the dojo window again. Quill at just came out, she smiled and gave a little wave. Oh the expression on his face, it cut Alice. Why didn't he look at her that way? She'd been both here and in his life longer, it wasn't fair.
"Quill and I were planning to go out to lunch, wanna come?" Her invite was genuine but not with out an alterer motive. "I haven't met many of Quill's new friends."

Aimee smiled at Alice. If quill liked her, she was going to have to accept it. "thanks..." aimee looked down at the headband on her wrist. "it's fine. I don't mind." Aimee said, commenting on the time she had seen Alice kiss quill. She then looked up and smiled at Quill as well when he came out. Oh who was she kidding? She couldn't get over how amazing he was, and how much she loved him. 
Aimee returned her gaze to Alice and her hand went to the pendant she wore. Aimee always wore something shiny, and this glass heart was what she wore today. It was a pendant with a chain that went down so that the heart rested below her chest and near her stomach. The heart was clear glass and almost the size of aimee's palm, but it wasn't heavy. Inside, was a red stained glass. The artisan had made a mistake in making it, and instead of there being a whole red, smaller heart, there were two halves of a heart. Her grandmother had gotten her this on her 14th birthday, telling her that love was just around the corner, and if she wore this when she was heartbroken, maybe things would mend. It was a very beautiful necklace, and Aimee liked it alot. She messed with it considering the invite.
"no thank you." she said finally. "I don't want to be a third wheel." she smiled at the two. "I'll just see you two around." she said with a light shrug. That necklace must have had powers because it took everything in her to say no to the invitation. She wanted to spend more time with Quill, but this girl didn't want her to.

"Third wheel?" Alice smirked in disbelief wouldn't they have to be a couple for her to be a third wheel? Quill must have gone mad how could he stand seeing this girl he loved in such denial. "Dear I don't go inviting those unwanted, I can promise you that." And she did want her to come very much, she wanted to understand this girl. What was so different about her, she didn't seem that different from other girls at school. Then again Alice didn't want her to be that different.
"Hey, whats going on?" Quill asked stepping outside his eyes clearly concerned as he looked from girl to girl.
"Just meeting Aimee here you didn't exactly introduce me last time," Alice smiled. "I invited her to lunch but it seems she has plans."
Again Quill's eyes rested on Aimee watching her reaction, had Alice said anything bad. It wasn't like her to, but it wasn't a usual situation in terms end. "Oh you sure you can't come?" he asked he was disappointed after yesterday he was still mad at her but it wasn't logical. She obviously didn't like him, he wasn't going to end their friendship on that.

Aimee was a bit surprised when Alice told he she didn't invite those unwanted. Well, what the heck. It would be nice to get to know Alice, Aimee guessed. She nodded her head lightly. "I'll come, then. But I've already eaten." Aimee admitted smiling slightly. She continued to mess with the hearth pendant. 
When she looked at Quill she really did wish she could pick up and run. She was so afraid of messing up again... Why couldn't be as easy as everyone else? Was it because he was the first person she ever really loved? Aimee thought about James again, and about how he looked at his texts. She smiled a bit to herself. Why couldn't it be as easy as that? James saw how much she loved Quill, how come he didn't see it too?
Still disappointed with how things turned out last night, aimee's eyes turned to meet Quill's. He was thinking about last night, she could tell. And she could see the anger behind that mask. That smile... She looked away. He was mad at her for trying. How could be so mad? Why was he mad at her for loving him? Did he know she loved him but just ignored it because she was only his friend? Things were so confusing.
It was a pity Aimee didn't know that Quill loved her too. She knew he was thinking about last night, but she couldn't see past that and see that he was mad because he felt used instead of it being a real kiss that shed asked for. Aimee didn't see that he looked at her asking as him just helping her out instead of really kissing. 
Aimee pulled at her glass heart some, and her hand stayed wrapped around it. Broken heart. Mend.

Alice slowly looked from one to the other. Like Aimee, she could see the mask Quill had put on closer all to well. But unlike Quill she could see Aimee as well, how hurt she looked. This wasn't friend with friend behavior, bloody hell she felt the same she knew that from the first time she saw her. So why this hidden feeling?
Alice didn't know but she had a guess that it had something to do with what she heard last night. That bang on the wall that, late night work out.
Before things could get even more awkward Alice sighed. "Right well lunch isn't here on the sidewalk now is it?. Though," she paused looking at the pavement, "You might be able to cook it on here. Why is California so hot?"
Quill nodded, "the diner then?" he asked. He asked both of them but since Aimee wasn't hungry it was more directed at Alice.
"Is it good?"
"Best in the town."
"Great lead the way," Alice pointed up the side walk, then laughed awkwardly as Quill nodded the opposite direction. "Sorry," she smiled and Quill smiled back. I can at least still make him smile, she thought.
"So Aimee," Alice said as they started to walk. "Tell me about yourself. How'd you and Quill meet?"

Aimee watched them decide where to go and she smiled a little when they chose the diner. She continued to mess with her pendant and she couldn't help but laugh as Alice claimed it was hot in California. Well, yeah. Aimee had checked the beach weather and it was to be sunny skies all weekend.
She didn't lock eyes with Quill again. She didn't want to see the anger in Quill's blue eyes. She followed Alice and Quill and looked up when she was addressed. She snorted inwardly. Vampire Hunting. she wanted to say. She remembered the first time they had really talked. They had sparred immediately after. Aimee smiled a little at the memory. 
"school." she answered promptly. "Quill is the most popular guy in school." she said and smiled. "everyone knows him." she laughed a little, then glanced Quill's way. She felt a bit better for some reason. She then looked ahead. "I knew him from some of the school things and we'd met eachother then. We really talked when I had to deliver a love letter from one of my friends." Aimee rolled her eyes a bit and smiled. She was okay. She was pained but laughter was the best medicine. 
Everyone is all over Quill. She wanted to say. every girl in the school. Aimee smiled to herself. She looked down at the glass heart. Maybe it did have powers. Maybe it had the ability to make her feel better. Aimee walked along the pavement and looked at the sky. Tomorrow was Friday. Tomorrow, they went to the beach. She couldn't wait to be out of Rhyolite. It would just be her, James, Quill, and Nerine. They would surf, swim, hang out play pool watch movies... It was perfect. She couldn't wait to be out of here for a day. It held too much drama.

Fern watched as Matthew leaped from the tree and into the crowd, obviously outraged that they had ruined their conversation. She tilted her head as he shouted at them, sounding completely pissed off. If she kenw Matthew well, he would have normally joked and laughed, but he had shouted at them. She felt a sad, thinking that the both of them could never be proper friends again. She felt a dark mood rising into her and she pushed it away, not wanting to look so down at the moment.

Fern also watched as the crowd began to disperse, muttering. One stayed behind though, when everyone was gone. She was about Fern's height and she was staring directly at Fern, through narrowed blue eyes. Her hair was a pale blonde and it soft curls framed her pretty face. Nerine raised an eyebrow and left too, wondering what the exchange between them was all about. Fern felt slightly unsettled as Nerine walked away. What was in that stare just now? Fern shrugged and looked down at Matthew and tilted her head to one side as he called her sis and offered to carry her back. She wanted to be best friends again- badly, but her heart wasn't into it at the moment. For a moment there, she felt like rejecting his offer, but seeing the longing in his eyes, she gave in.

"I thought I was the one who always forced you to do it." she grinned, hoping off from the tree.

Matthew smiled brightly as Fern grinned and hopped down from the tree. "yeah well you haven't Forced me in a while. Plus, we're taller if you get on my back." he laughed lightly. He looked around a bit before turning his back on fern so she could hop on. He looked around and didn't see Cecil. Cecil had to be here somewhere. That twin Englishman couldn't be far. 
Matthew smirked to himself. Englishman. He couldn't see Cecil for the mass of people in the way. He knew, with Fern on his back they'd be able to spot the blonde English gentleman. When Fern got on, Matthew looked around once more. "tell me if you see him." he said and began to walk, holding Fern up as he looked around. Nope, nope, nope, definitely not. Oh? Nope. Matthew counted through the people, labeling them all as 'Nope' until he could find the real Cecil.

Fern hopped on and wrapped her arms around him, the way that she always did. Everything seemed to have returned to normal...for now. She craned her neck and looked around, trying to spot her blur, gentlemanly brother. For crying out loud, where the hell was he? There were so many people around- everyone seemed to look like him in some way. She saw a blonde head that had their back to them and Fern was about to yell when the boy turned. It was not Cecil. Fern was about to yell again; this time out of frustration when

"There you both are. I have been looking for the both of you since break." Cecil's disapproving quiet voice said behind them. He was standing behind them, looking disapproving as though the two people in front of him have been caught drunk. "Busted~" Fern sang loudly and turned her head so that she was grinning at him. "Sorreh bro."
