Azrael looked at her, "That would be so fun! Don't you think? The Highschool is doing 'Anything Goes' It came out on broadway around the time I was born." Azrael smiled, "It's a good show though! I saw it in '87."

"You don't have to play a boy, Silly." Azrael giggled a little, "It's just possible, you could be anyone if you wanted to. Well, whoever the director thought you'd fit the best. Girls can be lost boys! There all little kids anyways, I mean. Girls that are your age have no... you know... cha cha's. So they could easily play boys." Azrael nodded, "Like me, I'm barely a size B." She smiled.

The angels are these girls who dress the same and talk the same and they basically lead all the big cast dances. What are they called.... I'd ask my boyfriend cuz he knows. but he's too much of an ass to pick up my phonecall. ugh. I texted him. Hold on.

"Yes, well, I am well I may not have any...'cha chas', but I'd rather not be playing a boy. Besides, it doesn't matter. It's not like I'm going to try out anyway," Clara said. She propped her elbow onto the table and rested her cheek on her hand. "You really can't make me either. So lets just drop the subject."

"Oh Clara. It would be so fun." Azrael gave a defeated frown, "Can I play with your hair?" Azrael asked looking at her while taking a seat across the table, "You know, Clara, I think of you like a sister. A good sister. I don't know why." Azrael smiled, "I love you Clara!" She smiled.

Clara sighed. She hated when people made her feel guilty. "Fine. You can play with my hair," she mumbled. She closed her eyes. "You're acting strange, that means you're back to your old self. At least you're not moping around being depressed anymore."

Matthew's eyes narrowed when he saw the group of kids below him. That was marvelous. Just when things seemed to light up, people came and ruined it. The hatred was embedded in matthew's hazel eyes. He had never been so angry, except at himself. Matthew dropped from the tree, right in the middle of the group. "I have a girlfriend, idiots." he said through clenched teeth. All he wanted to do now was kick and bite and hear their screams. "she's apart of my extended family too, morons." he hissed. "ever heard of the common last name we all go by? Merrill? We all have our last names but since we're extended family we all have a common name so that people know we're RELATED." he growled. 
People backed up when they saw the hatred in his eyes. "you people sure do know how to ruin a nice conversation." he said before they finally dispersed. Matthew stood there, silent. A gentle breeze picked up and brushed through his hair. Matthew sighed and the glare that was there previously slowly calmed into nothing but a sad forlorn look. Matthew loved Fern and he wanted nothing more than for their relationship to return to it's normal status.
He had his back to her and he looked up at the school. His eyes then turned towards the tree before he turned around to look up at fern. He looked at her for a long time. "c'mon Sis." he said. "I'll give you a piggy back ride to find Cecil." he offered with a grin. The longing in his eyes for them to be just friends again would have made Matthew himself sick. But he was sick. He was sick with the feeling that he'd never get his best friend back, all the way. 
Fern was his amazing best friend who climbed over him, called him an oaf and who he carried to several places because she either jumped on or was too slow. She was his little fire that danced around when he was sad and burned him when he was being stupid. She meant the world to him and he wanted her to be there forever. Sure, grace was his girlfriend, but nothing could beat a good, real friend. 
Grace was beautiful and sweet. She was there to rub his back and make him blush. When he looked at her he saw every good time they had together. When he held her hands, sweet feelings and memories surged forward. She was smart, kind and beautiful and she was everything he had wanted, and now she was his. He could stare into those dark brown eyes for an eternity and he could hold her close for ages. 
He felt differently towards each girl, Fern and Grace, and yet he loved them both. They were the components that made him happy. And when one was unhappy he could feel the vibe. Like Fern. He wanted nothing more than for her to be happy now, so he could be happy, and everyone would be too.
