How about we just have James get an important call and make him go home. Then this night Aimee and Quill search but don't plan to attack just locate.
They either do or don't find her. Possibly fight, but not a lot. Then spend the night inthe tent and go home. Have them find out that James thing meant he had to leave town and go from there until Riri gets back.

James listened, agreeing absentmindedly about whatever they were saying. A faint ringing caught his attention in addition to a buzzing in his back pocket. He pulled out a small cellphone, and scowled at the number, immediately dismissing it, and tossing it in the tent.
About follow Aimee, James stepped over a small log, and was about to take another step when there was a ringing again. James looked back at the tent. There was no light, and all that could be seen was a smudge of the lighted screen in the tent. James now had an unreadable expression on his face and he slowly made his way back to the tent. Step by step, his heart accelerated more and more. Eventually, he pressed the small 'answer' button and brought the phone to his ear.
James stepped outside the tent to let himself breathe. A short sentence was possibly all he could manage before someone interrupted, talking very fast. James visibly paled against the rising moon's light. "Yeah." he said. "Yeah, that's right. Yeah, man, I was the one who did that--"
The person cut him off instantly, and James let out a short sigh. "You guys..." he said, his voice not cheery at all. "I have to go." With that he took his bag, and stuffed everything back in, obviously in a rush, and disappeared into the dark.

((Aaaannnddd that was my ending. I'll see you all in 9 days !

Quill agreed with Aimee taking a few steps forward before he heard James phone go off. At first he thought it had been his and almost shrugged his own phone out of his pocket. But then noticing the disgruntled look on James face and the fuzzy lighted up screen he realized the truth. Stopping he waited for Jame's to pick it up watching, his expressions he knew it couldn't possible be good news. Quill stood half way between his to companions as he waited.
When James announced he couldn't be here longer Quill had to admit his stomach clenched a little bit. He was nervous. All other emotions that could be relieved set aside. He'd never need Jame's fight before. He'd never spared with him, or known much else other than what he said he studied. But somehow Quill had been counting on his companion having some sort of great strength behind him. But now without even much realizing it that thought of that strength was gone and he was left in the forest with Aimee. He did not think Aimee incapable but he did think (and with what he thought good reason) James was stronger than her. And they could have used that. Now he was injured and alone in the forest with Aimee... alone, together, for a night... in the forest.
He glanced at her just starting to wonder how this night could unfold. "That was... sudden," he allowed watching Jame's retreating figure.
He took the few remaining strides to Aimee's side but his eyes still rested on the spot where James had left. He hoped it wasn't to serious.

Aimee blinked when she heard the phone go off. She knew it wasn't her own, and waited. She watched James's face pale and she frowned. He started to leave and suddenly she felt like their eldest was leaving. "Bye..." she said to James as he started to leave.
"we can just track her first.." Aimee said quietly. She didn't doubt Quill's skill at all, but she did worry about his back. She didn't want to put him through anything like fighting, and James was supposed to be like her support, her big brother who was going to help.
Now that James was gone, and that they were alone, Aimee felt a bit awkward. She looked at Quill. "let's go.." she said. She had grabbed a flashlight along the way out of the tent (pretend XD) and she was holding it by her side now. She didn't want to use it yet, for fear it would attract the vampires instead of letting them track her to wherever she was residing.
Aimee stepped into the forest nd out of the clearing. Her heart pounded as she walked slowly. Her feet made barely a sound in te forest. The sound f animals scurrying about was heard, but overall, scilence. Suddenly, the smell of a dead animal washed over her. Aimee grimanced and held her nose as she approached a large mountain lion.
The creature had been shreaded to bits, but as aimee drew closer, she could see the obvious bite mark on it's neck.

I just got up... Well not really. I'm still in my bed texting my replies. XDD

Quill followed close behind. When they came on to the dead lion his contorted his nose up at the smell. "Well it was definitely here," he stated looking up into the sky out of habit. It was starting to really get dark and he feared they might not be able to know the way back to their campsite. Searching the ground as Aimee looked over the dead animal he found two sticks, and with his foot he laid them across one another to form a solid "X". It was an off chance that'd they'd go back the same way but he hoped that if they came to it they at least at the little "X" to mark their spot.
Noticing Aimee was still looking at the animal he even had time to find a little green left and put it on the spoke of the X that faced camp.
"So what exactly are we planning to accomplish tonight?" he asked. "You can't be expecting us to actully take it down, can you?"

Aimee looked the animal over a few times again and looked up as she watched Quill make his little "x" in the ground. She stood up slowly, "Of course not..." She said, "I hate saying it, but you're stuck with the weakest member of our group." she said. She honestly thought she was the weakest. However, that had yet to be proven. Secretly. she felt this way because she was a girl. She wasn't as strong as them, apparently just by looking at them, but she was exceptionally strong for a girl.
Aimee looked around to see where they should head off. "I think we should just track her and mark the spot where she's residing on the map I have back at the tent." she said, "Then we can hunt for her when James is available." she suggested. She noticed the blood from the animal was around it, and in a certain spot was larger, and seemed to trail off a bit in a certain direction before it stopped.
"She must've gone this way." she said. Aimee gestured in the direction. So far, tracking a crazy messy vampire was the easiest thing she could be doing. tracking a clean crazy vampire, harder, tracking a sane and clean vampire would be madness. Aimee already had a plan in her mind once they captured and killed the vampire with James later. Her idea was that she would take a picture of the woman's face, and get a thumb print so the government could track her, and tell where the woman came from. Aimee had a feeling this vampire wasn't native to Rhyolite, and she didn't want her and her comrades to be blamed for this newborn being created in the first place.

Hehe he is. I didn't mean to make him and Rin so small. They were both already smaller than Regans picture and when I edited it, it wouldn't fix it and I got mad. Haha.
I thought about putting every character on there. But there more people might come and people might leave and blah I'm not that good at editing. Feel free to anyone who wants to make their own I'll put it up.

"Nonsense," Quill shook his head. "Your tracking skill are amazing, that isn't weak."
Done playing with his X Quill moved onward looking over the animal less throughly than Aimee but enough to tell what she saw. "Sound good," he nodded looking up at her. "Lead the way."

Yay my mistakes look on purpose! Hehe.
Um the layout is really flexible so I don't think that it matters all that much. The one thats currently up though is 822 x 173.

Aimee looked at Quill and smiled. "Thanks..." she said a bit shyly. She smiled to herself as she led the way. He thought she was amazing. It took around thirty minutes of walking until they picked up something again. Aimee stopped walking and quickly grabbed Quill's hand, and pulled Quill down behind a bush. Through the foliage of the bush, they could see a clearing with tons of dead animals, and a few dead bodies outside of a cave. A woman was bent over an animal, feasting hungrily.
Aimee's heart raced. The woman was so close to them at the moment. Aimee was holding Quill's hand and her grip tightened a bit. She got nervous when she saw the vampiress. That woman had hurt Quill, and she was afraid now. They had to turn around and be as quiet as possible, or she would hear them.
Aimee had forgotten to calculate in the sense of smell.
