Well shit. Nerine had been up all night in the living room staring at the goddamned ceiling for a longgg time. She felt tired and completely awful, but she wasn't going to allow that to ruin her trip. Just as she was about to scream and swear at the ceiling, she heard voices in the kitchen. James and Quill's. She could make out the words 'vampires' and 'hunters'. Nerine snorted. Whatever. She raised a blonde eyebrow at the ceiling as though asking it 'What should I do?' The ceiling simply stared back at her and Nerine was about to pull off one of her bracelets and throw it up when she heard Aimee's voice rising to shrill. Man, she sounded upset.

"The hell?" Nerine growled, shooting up from the couch and running towards the kitchen, looking completely pissed off. She stood in the doorway and surveyed the scene that beheld her. She stared at the pictures on the ground; stared into Quill's serious face which had previously been shock and Aimee's upset face. She glanced at James and looked down at the single picture which surpassed th eothers on the floor again. It was a vampire from Lyons and judging from James and the others expression this was probably the girl that he had been dreaming of all this while. Well, they can settle their love problems together and...

Wait. She was a vampire. This couldn't be happening. Nerine's annoyed features fell before they were replaced by anger and horror. He. Was. Dating. A. Freaking. Leech all this while. Nerine shook her head once, twice, her long blonde curls swishing from side to side, unable to accept this before shouting.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND?!"

Sol walked from the lyons home towards Aurora. She wanted to see Rune again. She missed James but that didn't mean she had to sulk in her room forever. She wanted to see the little short kid who had modeled for her previously. She carried her sketchbook as she walked down the street.
Sol walked up to the Aurora home and knocked lightly, but hard enough for someone to hear. She waited patiently and looked around as she did as well.

We know James, but right now you're in a lot of hot water, so best keep your mouth shut until Riri thinks of something good.

Alright, little warning, James is going off on a rant here....
James: I'm you're teddy bear, Ace? O_o I'm flattered hahaaaa))

James sighed. It had sunken in that he'd been dating a vampire, but it hadn't sunk in what he was going to do with the situation. It seemed so obvious to Quill that James should forget about Sol, and go on with their mission. "Hah," he laughed harshly, emerald eyes glinting. "Eye on the target, right? Nose to the grindstone?"
"You're dating her?!" James winced and looked to Aimee, who'd now come in the room with a flabbergasted look on her face. James held up the picture again, with a deadpan expression on his face. "Yeah, I'm dating her, and we're debating on how we're gonna kill her off." Sarcasm was not James' best face, and certainly when he wasn't in the top most mood right about now. "I know, she's a newborn, Ace, I just read the file." he was getting immensely frustrated.
James turned on Nerine, scowling. "So it appears. Join the freaking club. We've got jackets." he spit out harshly. This was beginning to annoy him. Anyone who knew James well enough, knew he had a deadly temper, and knew it was time to clear the room when James' eyes started flashing dangerously.
"And you know what?" James stood defensively, his lip curling and eyes glinting. With everybody standing and him sitting it was making him feel like he was the betrayer here.
"You two-" he motioned to Aimee and Quill. "were able to kill off one of the vampire's spawns, which was brilliant for you-" that part, he said with a hint of pride. Not that he didn't think the two could do it, but it was certainly impressive... "but there are still raw newborns out there, and one of which attacked me and Sol. I had just met her - hell..." he scoffed. "I hadn't even met her, I was just watching her from across the street. The newborn comes darting out of freaking nowhere, and goes for her throat!" James jabbed a finger at Sol's picture. "So what do I do, not knowing she's a vampire, perfectly capable of taking care of her own little self? I help her, and yeah, that crazed newborn that attacked us, drew blood. She made quite a number on my back-" he rolled his shoulders, indicating that the wounds were scabbing and still there. "Blood was everywhere, yet she didn't do anything! She remained in complete control of herself. She led me into a freaking hospital that had more than enough patients who were probably bleeding. It was probably like letting a child loose in a candy store, but for Sol, she focused on mending my back, since I couldn't." James huffed out a breath, leaning against the table, glaring at the floor. "If the whole bloodsucking crew is like Sol, then we've got nothing to worry about." his voice was quiet now.
Defeated. He didn't know what to do, what to say, or even how to end his rant. He just sighed heavily, like he'd just been punished by holding up the sky for the humans. All the rage was gone from James now. He could only figure out what to do next.

Leo shrugged casually. "Well, the music just makes it more fun. You can chose the songs if you want." Leo wasn't extremely picky about the music he listened to. Any song with a good beat or a heartfelt tune and he was golden. Aislinn was the one who always chose the music to play, and Leo was cool with that. The most annoying thing though was that Aislinn couldn't sit through one song without changing the songs. Even if they were good songs, Aislinn always changed it.
It went with his sister's mood. She always had to be doing something, but it couldn't be for long, else Aislinn would soon get bored and it wouldn't be fun for anybody. Speaking of his sister...Leo looked up at the ceiling, hearing his sister get up in her bedroom. Bear seemed to have heard it too, for his ears pricked up and Bear padded silently out of the room without a last look. Soon Aislinn was downstairs, her auburn hair in a high messy bun, no makeup on and a towel with her swim team bathing suit on.
"New team schedule?" Leo asked. Aislinn never had practice these days. Aislinn nodded. "We have our first competition in a few weeks." Aislinn smiled at Regan. "Hey, Regan," she went over behind Leo, and rested her hands on the back of his chair. "Do you guys need help today with chores?" she asked kindly. "I've got a swim meet and then I can come back after and help."
Leo shrugged. "Dunno, whatddya think, Regan?" He turned to the Aurora coven leader.
