Rune stared out the window, wondering where the hell was Lionel. Fine time to go missing. He jumped when his cellphone began ringing out loud with trashy music. It was Rune's ringtone for Lionel. He had chosen it on purpose to signify Lionel's crappy past. He allowed the music to play for a while before he pulled the phone out of his pocket and answered it. The first thing he said was "You're an ass, do you know that?" he growled. "While you're out moping around I've been babysitting your girlfriend who has already woken up and is also waiting for you. He paused for a while to listen to Lionel's reply. "You have been what? You know what? I don't care. Just get your ass back here. Oh and you owe me fifty for my services." he rolled his eyes and hung up.

"I'm sorry Kolian." Rune sighed "to be the idiot who has been here all this while. He'll be home in five."

Kolian's ears rang and her head hurt when Rune's cellphone went off. Her head hurt and she frowned a little, opening her eyes and listening to their conversation. She had not known Lionel's reaction to her 'dying' so she couldn't understand Rune's tone, but she appreciated it. 
Kolian couldn't help but smile to herself as she listened to him, and when he told her he was sorry she felt like she owed Rune the world. She took in a deep breath. "thank you..." was all she managed to say, and though it burned her throat to talk and made her dizzy, she meant it. It was worth saying it to him. Out of all the times with Rune she had, this had to be the most caring gesture she had ever experienced with him.
She smiled to herself a little more. If she could move she would have gotten up to give him an air kiss and hug. She laughed inwardly. She knew how much pain she caused him when she touched him, but if he didn't have that burning feeling she wouldn't mind hugging him. He was very, very sweet to have been here for her, and she appreciated his 'services' so very much. If only he knew. 
Kolian closed her eyes again and tried to listen for the sound of Lionel's feet. She wanted to hear his footsteps and to hear her door open. She wanted to see his face again. 

(( I think Rune is SO SWEET for sitting there. u .u he barely likes Kolian, from what I see, but he sat there anyway and he's <333 RUNE I LOVE YOU. XDD ))

Rune shrugged and said sourly. "Whatever. Just don't expect this kind of service from me again." The apologetic crap from him was gone and was replaced by his usual self. He pulled out the NDS from his pocket and started playing it, ignoring Kolian again and awaited the sound of Lionel coming in. Ten minutes later, Rune heard the front door slamming and the loud clomping of Lionel coming up the stairs. He waited and...

"Little vampire? Rune?" The door opened and Lionel walked in. He looked tired and...drunk. Rune immediately went into action, snatching up a pen from Lionel's desk and throwing it at him, glaring sullenly. Lionel caught it and raised an eyebrow. Even if he looked drunk he still had his reflexes alert. "Meh?" he said blearily. "Don't you 'meh' me, buster." Rune scowled, getting up and kicking Lionel's leg. Lionel didn't even cry out loud as he grimaced. "You owe me a fifty and a freakin' explanation. Like I said, I've been babysitting your girlfriend for a week and I have seriously other things better to do got that? Damn, Lionel." Lionel scoffed at Rune's use of language and muttered "Tomorrow alright? I don't feel good." He frowned.

"Dammit Lionel, have you been drinking?" Rune exclaimed but his words were lost when Lionel turned towards Kolian and said a sleepy "Hey." And then he added towards Rune. "Hell no."

A week? So it had been that long Kolian heard the door open and her heart could've leapt out of her chest when she heard Lionel say 'Little Vampire'. She turned her eyes on him and listened and watched as Rune fired his ammo and aimed kicks along with his yelling.
Kolian sighed a little and watched Lionel. When his eyes turned on her she managed a small, thin weak smile. He did sound drunk, though, and she didn't like to think that maybe he had been out drinking while she was dead for a whole week. She waited for Lionel to come over. She had wanted his face to be the first one she saw when she woke up, but second was okay, wasn't it?
She still couldn't move and she didn't want to try and speak again.
