At the knock of the door Regan's one eye opened slightly to look over at the frame of the door, as thought she couldn't see anything. With slight regret her fingers paused on the keys and she stood. Today the longer back layers of her hair were pinned up to the back of her head giving her the often worn impression of a bob. Her outfit a little black dress with fishnet leggings and black heels. A quiet formal onsomble but yet somehow pulled off as casual on Regan'g figure.
She came to the door going through names in her head on who it could be, obviously not a coven member as they wouldn've knocked. All to come down to a not so surprised conclusion as she opened the door to see Callum's face. Admittedly he was rather tall so she had to step back a few inches. But overall she thought that she was probably not the most suffered from this angle. Nearing 5' 10" in her heels she was far from short, and therefore looked up to few. It was an uncomfortable angle, she noted.
"Yes?" she asked. It was a pleasant voice but all in all she had the house to herself and she really had been looking forward to playing with no interruptions. And this was an interruption.

Gah those pictures are gorgeous, makes me want to beg my parents to take a CA vacation.

Aimee had time to relax some as the girls were continuing their display of their previous routine. She glanced over at Quill, slightly disappointed he had not noticed her, while other boys did. She looked down at herself, wearing the cheer uniform that she thought looked awful on her. Her hands messed with the hem of her skirt. Maybe she really did look as awful as she thought. Apparently she didn't look prettier, or else Quill would have noticed. Wouldn't he?
Her thoughts were ridiculous, even if she didn't realize this herself. While she was being all worried about her looks, as any girl with a crush would be, she could have realized that Quill was completely absorbed in his practice, not paying any attention to his surroundings, or so it seemed for someone looking on. Aimee sighed and looked up at the girls, then around. She noticed two girls approaching, and she looked at them for some time until her face lit up.
One of those two girls was a hunter! Aimee got to her feet and casually walked over to Nerine. "Are you Nerine Fonnet?" She asked, a smile on her face. Aimee hoped she didn't come off the wrong way, wearing the awful outfit and all. If this was in fact Nerine, Nerine was a very pretty girl. The tube top and jeans fitted her look perfectly, and Aimee thought that skirts didn't fit her own look as she thought about it again.
Aimee noticed the girl alongside Nerine, and she wanted the girl to go away so that she may talk with the girl alone, to tell her that she was a vampire hunter too. It would be exciting. Finally, a girl on the team.

Callum looked down at Regan as she took a step back. She was pretty tall for most of the girls he had seen. "Hello.." he smiled, "I was just coming to pay a visit, if that was alright with you." he said politely. Though he was taller than Regan, something about her personality intimidated him and made him feel as if he were talking to someone extremely important. However, now that he thought about it, she WAS extremely important.
She was a coven leader, and he should - and did - respect her. "I also kind of wanted to know who was playing the piano." he said, "It was beautiful, but it didn't sound like Clara or Azrael's playing." he explained slowly, somehow hoping that she wouldn't roll her eyes and slam the door in his face.
Suddenly, Callum had an idea. What if he could make friends with Regan? That would be nice, he thought. He figured, since he had one conversation with her, why not another. She was a nice person, and he liked talking to her since she could probably relate to coven issues. On top of that, it was just good to have a nice relationship between coven leaders.
Bad relationships led to nothing but cold shoulders, glares, and lack of visitors.

Regan considered him for a moment before stepping inside. She supposed her piano playing would have to wait. Paying a visit? Did he know she was a new leader of the coven. Was he testing her? Oh shut up and stop being paranoid. "Oh..." she said leaning her head on the door edge waiting for him to come inside.
Regan glanced at the stacks of folders at the piano side, "um guilty," she smirked looking back at him. She knew that her Aurora members played what she didn't know is that the Merrill leader had been around to hear. Gosh she was so dysfunctional. Did Clara still hate him? What was going on with that. Should she be letting him into her house?

Nerine nodded and nodded as Delia continued chattering away like a happy little bird. Nerine had been busy looking around the area restlessly, putting her legs up and resting her chin on her knees and her arms wrapped around her legs. Her eyes flickered over to the cheerleaders and the football players on the other side of the field once, twice, thrice until Nerine decided that she didn't want to hang around any longer. She was about to slip away when someone's voice broke through her head

"Are you Nerine Fonnet?"

Damn, another fan? The girls that she had 'saved' might as well just start a Nerine fan club. Nerine rolled her eyes inwardly and it took a while for her to respond, hoping that this new girl would go away or whatever. When nothing happened, Nerine sighed inwardly. Might as well get this over with. she thought dryly and looked up to see the cheerleader that had seemed to be the leader of the other girls. Or was she? Nerine didn't care. Hold on a minute; this girl seemed familiar. Did Nerine see her in a picture or something before? Vampire hunter. Aimee Lastel. Comrade. Partner. Her photographic memory clicked in and surprise shot into her.

"Yes." she smiled a little. "You're Aimee Lastel."

"Delia!" One of the cheerleaders called towards the young girl who had been chattering away next to Nerine. "C'mre and try out some stuff." With a squeal, the girl climbed down from the bleachers and headed towards the cheerleaders.

Callum walked in and closed the door behind him, looking over towards Regan and smiling. His smile was genuine. he had nothing to hide from Regan, and no he wasn't testing her, though he didn't know she was thinking that. He looked over at the piano and smiled, nodding a bit. "Is anyone home?" he asked, looking at Regan. He was honestly jealous of her small numbers. he liked small covens, but he wouldn't give up any of his coven members for the world.
"If no one's home, and if you don't mind, I'd like to listen to you play." he said. Callum wanted to hear her style of music, and her picks. He liked the way he could notice Matthew's erratic trombone playing, or Azrael's sad personality reflecting in her music. And he knew Clara's song that she had learned as well.
Callum wondered if Regan had a certain tune to her. Music was just one way Callum could figure people out. Just by listening, he could tell their mood unless it was just a recited piece.

Aimee smiled as Nerine hit her name on the dot. "Yes." Aimee felt excitement swell inside of her, and for a moment she forgot about Quill not noticing her. "Hope you don't mind if I take a seat." Aimee said, and sat next to Nerine. On top of the fact that she was getting to meet Nerine for the first time, she was getting away from the cheerleaders for a bit. Too much peppy made her dizzy.
"Are you here for the game?" Aimee asked, "Or on the lookout for vampires?" She kept her voice low so that no one other than they could hear what she said. She wasn't about to let the secret slip, and since Nerine had not been with her Quill and james the first time they were attacked, and then when she and Quill went hunting, she decided this would be prime time to update Nerine, and make a new friend.
Aimee leaned back in the bleachers a bit, glad that they were a bit empty for now. She looked out at the field at Quill and watched him practice. He was very good at football. She couldn't wait to introduce him to Nerine. She had a FEMALE comrade!

"Nah." Nerine shrugged indifferently. Her mind was a swirl of thoughts. Here she was, meeting a fellow comrade for the first time and Nerine didn't feel very enthusiastic at the moment. Before she had been hired by the government, she had been a lone wolf, hunting vamps for sport. Now after that crappy accident, she had been hired so that her so-called skills wouldn't go to waste. Now she also had to work with a couple more people to keep this little town safe. If Nerine had her own way, she would have disregarded any form of companionship.

Aimee's questions made her eyes narrow. Attending the game? Hell no. On the lookout for leeches? Not at the moment, but in a way, she was; forever alert and cautious.

"No. And no." She shrugged. "Why?" Nerine followed Aimee's gaze and noticed that she was looking at a boy playing football. She snorted. "Does that guy playing over there fancy you?"

Aimee listened for Nerine's reply and she just shrugged when Nerine said no to both her questions. She was about to speak - eyes still on Quill - when Nerine asked her a question instead. Aimee's cheeks reddened and she looked at Nerine. "Oh no... Quill's way to good for me..." she said, then blushed some more at her words. She quickly turned her attention to Quill again, and calmed down considerably.
"Quill is also one of our partners." She explained, "I should take you to meet him later." she said, then glanced at Nerine. "There was a newborn here in Rhyolite killing everything and making other newborns like crazy a while back. Quill and I went hunting for it and we killed it, as well as burned the bodies. I also got the bodies' thumb prints as well as the newborn's." she explained, "I sent it all to the government and they're looking it through. This entire week they're going to be here informing families of their losses." she explained.
Aimee looked at Quill as he practiced. "So, maybe you've already gotten their email or letter?" she looked over at Nerine. "They said that we could take the weekend off since they're going to be here all week." she smiled, "Isn't that great?" Aimee stretched her legs out a bit in front of her. "They recognize that we are still regular teenagers, and should fit in like some." she said.
Aimee looked at Nerine, "I was thinking, but, I didn't say anything to Quill or James yet. James is another partner, but he had to leave for some reason." Aimee said, "My grandparents own a beach house not too far from here, and I was thinking the vampire hunters could all go there for a bit. My grandparents aren't there, because they're vacationing in Thailand still." she said. "what do you think?"

Practice ended about 30 minutes before the actual game. "Okay, break time." the coach declared, "Everyone get ready, rest up because this is going to be an important game!" he said. "Game is in thirty minutes, but I want you in the locker room in 25 minutes." the coach said and walked into the locker room to do lord knows what.
Most of the football players went to talk with the cheerleaders, and some went to the locker rooms, but Michael clapped a hand down on Quill's shoulder, "Hey, Quill, I wanted you to meet the fox." he smirked, "She's here, I got her to come." he said. Michael gestured over to where Aimee and Nerine were sitting. "She looks freaking hot in that cheer uniform. I didn't even know she was a cheer leader." To anyone listening to Michael, it would seem that the mere fact she was wearing a cheer leader uniform made her all the more worth pursuing.
