THIS IS THE OLD PLOT LIKE PLEASE GO TO THE NEW ROLEPLAYING FORUM TO GET AN UPDATED VERSION.

Main Plot Line
For years the vampire worlds lived in said peace, as much as vampires can be when eating live food. Of course, there was some disputes - a war or two - but overall peace.
There's loners and covens. Vegetarians choosing animal blood opposed to humans, and others who prefer their meat fresh and walking. But none of that truly takes place in our story.
What many of our vampire friends have taken advantage of the past centuries is the fact their prey hasn't caught on to what they are up to.
On a wide range: no, of course not. Walking out in the town streets, a human wouldn't know what you were. And if you told them I doubt they'd do much more then call the cops and request to put you in the loony bin. But the head of all of us: yes. The government.

To say the least the law makers of our country don't take well to finding out that they've been hunted and fed upon by supposedly fantastical creatures.
They haven't told the public; more area fifty one stuff. And a human vs. vampire war isn't what they need right now. No, instead they tried something a little different. House arrest.
All vampires have been forced into covens, if they aren't already, and forced to live where the government can keep an eye on them until further notice on what they will do.
For some covens who have sworn vegetarian, this is not much change if any at all. Actually some vegetarian covens are strongly benefiting from this since their homes are now being paid for.
Others are outraged. Loners forced into covens, covens chained down into houses. Not allowed to hunt... At all. Their food is given from the blood drives. The already dead are bagged then shipped their houses. Found slip-ups are punished heavily.

Our covens are Aurora, Merrill, and Lyons.

Sub-Plot

Do you realize what you just did?" The man looked at his coven leader a mix of shock and horror struck on his beautiful face. He was second in command, well liked among the Tycler Coven but there was nothing to like in his tone now. He stared down at the coven leader with malice shinning in his bright green eyes, his fangs edging out dangerously at the girl. He couldn't believe the one who should have every best interest for the coven could do something so dangerous to them all. Bit a human.

Vampires weren't free any longer, not with the government's discovery of them. They were confided in houses where they could be watched regulated with their blood. Waiting in every sense for the decision on what to do with them. Like the bail of jail, they were not free only buying time. But they didn't need to give the government reason to hate them. "This is no life for creatures like us you can hardly expect-"his leaders tone rang with authority something he'd used to respect. Anger flared up inside him once again as he cut her sentence short a hard blow hit her as his fist contacted to her face. "How dare-" she staggered.

No. How dare you Lilith." The blonde haired boy hissed his fangs sliding fully out now as he circled the leader. For the first time growls could be heard in the background. Among the once beautifully decorated house, now torn with wreckage a closet door banged. Something that was being held inside was getting restless. That something was the only proof he needed of his leaders treachery. The new born itself, it wasn't sensible. It wasn't a normal new born it was like a rabid dog out of control attacking everything and anyone insight, having already killed humans to. It was like it wasn't even a little human, an animal…

We're back!" a voice rang with cheer that rang hollowly in the silent home. A girl resembling someone no older than sixteen entered the household no less than ten people closely following. Her eyes scanned the calculated area until the scene clicked in front of her eyes. "What is going on here?" she asked seeming to voice many of the thoughts of those behind her.

Damien the second in command hissed in response his eyes locked on leader like she was the scum of the earth. "Damien!" the girl demanded her eyes begging him to talk. She cared deeply about this man, more than anyone else in Tylcer. But her ties to the leader ran deeper that could be explain; she owed that woman her life. She was torn between throwing him off his leader, and helping him. He had to have reason didn't he?

Rilla," one of the men at her side whispered his head nodding to the still shaking closet.

Don't open that!" Damian commanded from where he crouched in the corner. "It seems our leader couldn't tame her cravings," he hissed.

You locked a new born in there?" Rilla shrieked her eyes instantly darting for the handle. "Are you insane just because-

Rilla you don't understand," Damien pleaded but it was too late the small girl had swung the door open a shadow jumping out at her instantly. Fangs grabbing her neck furiously, she screamed. Various shocked yells followed. This newborn if that were the word to call it wasn't normal it tore Rilla apart with its jaws jumping to the next and the next taking them out as it went. Escaping into the night, it wasn't just a threat to the humans but vampires as well. It had no control no feeling. Something was wrong with it. "No!" Damien yelled running to the now limp girl on the floor.

The leader escaping his watch darted for the window shattering it instantly with a kick. She'd been tricked into the meal she knew she had. She cursed herself a hundred fold for bring this on her coven. But she was not one to ever admit weakness, "If you wish to live, run my coven." She said the only sensible decision she could think of all day. Her black hair swallowing her in the bleakness of the growing night…

You were right," a man in a heavy suit chuckled his eyes covered by glasses. He and his partner on looked the appending scene from the high hillside with smug satisfaction. Their hearts beating freely their own blood circulating in their veins, not others, they were human. "The girl could not resist, those demons are as good as dead," he chuckled his plan had worked wonders and the fact they'd lured the leader into it was just a bonus.

Both of them carried low positions in the government and protested wildly that they might give these vampires a chance at life. And to all their supply the creatures although protested followed orders, they did not feed on humans. But they couldn't hold it long not in the partner's eyes; they didn't to be disposed of. And if to do so they needed to disobey orders and push them along the way a little he would. They didn't deserve life.

You can't possibly think that new vampire could kill them all," his companion commented.

Hah! Don't be silly, but they did have a deal now, didn't they? Not one of us would they feed on. I'm afraid they've broken their pack," the man mocked sympathy as raised the phone he'd been clutching to his mouth. "Bring them in.

His wary companion eyes widened as he watched the many hiding soldiers in the bushes arm themselves. "It doesn't seem right," he murmured. Although he agreed with the man the vampires should not be around them, he could not feel slightly guilty they lured the she-vampire into feasting she wouldn't have done it otherwise. And something else about it worried him. He knew nothing of vampires but he couldn't shake the look on the new born vampire's face as it tacked through the Colorado streets that night. That couldn't be usual even the vampire herself had been surprised. And worse yet he couldn't shake the thought that it had something to do with the diseased blood they sent them. The blood that collected in blood drives found not useful tainted. What if the new born they'd just created was to powerful to kill now than its job was over?

No," the man chuckled not seeming the least bit worried. "I suppose it isn't," and with that the men and women below closed in gunshots filling the night. The next morning the little Colorado city would have a creative little paper on gang attacks and the deaths… well they weren't of importance they weren't human any way…. Little did they know although every coven member was killed that night, their main threat was left alive as it fled the night before the first bullet was shot. Inhuman, unable to feel anything at all and blood thirsty stronger than any vampire before it.

The higher-ups in the government never did find out the cause of the bloodshed that night, nor did they ever question how the troops had gathered so fast to shoot them down, and burn the bodies. Perhaps it was because they wanted them dead as well. But it did give them reason to look after every coven formed more closely. If the Tycler coven had slipped so easily so could every other coven in the country. And with the new born on the loose killing wherever it could covens are being exterminated under false accusations.

The government has issued out trained vampire killers in every city, all human and preferably young or around the age of coven members. If a human is to die in that city they must be on the move to figure out why. If they can prove it is the work of a vampire they are put to work with their extermination. Each member may have one vampire hunter in the guild.

Rhyolite

Our covens live in a town called Rhyolite, California.
Rhyolite is a beautiful town of flowers and small wooded areas. They have a few big stores but many smaller shopping centers all around town, with houses and family-owned businesses spread out through the whole town.
The town is just big enough for the covens' appearances not to take much notice. But also, unfortunately for the covens, is that it's small enough that if humans started 'disappearing' (or being eaten, rather) it'd be easy for their government sitters to pick them out.

High School

Rhyolite High School is where our characters will start school in the Fall. Although many vampires had already finished high school before being changed, the permanent placement and need to fit in is causing all covens under the age of eighteen to go back to school. Since most of our characters will be over fourteen, the high school is the only one pictured here, but there is also an elementary school and junior high.

Local Hot Spots

The Theater

Rhyolite theater is the towns true connection to the rest of the hopping country. It has all the new movies and the best popcorn around town. It's the teens' hot spot, where Friday nights are the place to be. Though it doesn't mean much to the vampires, unless they're really trying to fit in. Then again, who doesn't love a good movie?

One of the Diners

There are many diners and restaurants in town, but Roasted N' Toasted is the best. They're completely casual, and make for the perfect burger and conversation over lunch.

Many of the local teens find their first job here; it's one of those picture perfect places that even if you hate food like our vampire friends it's a nice hangout inside and out.
They always have music playing and teens looking out to have a good time

Ice Rink

No matter who you are, a day at Polar Ice Rink is always fun, especially if you're a vampire who already runs ten degrees under the normal human's temperature.
To get into the ice rink it's only $6, plus another $2 if you'd like to skate. Completely affordable for anyone looking for a good time.

Mini Golf

Another great pass time is Joliet Golf Course. Mini golf may not be the most competitive or high tension sport, but it's definitely fun for anyone looking to have a fun night out.

Pool

Opened in the late Spring until mid Fall, this is the local pool. With a membership, you are allowed in any time from nine in the morning to nine at night.
Sometimes they host pool parties during the summer. Besides, when the weather can go up to a hundred degrees over the summer, the pool comes in handy.
